We enjoyed our first visit to Vito’s Osteria. I am vegetarian, and had aubergine parmigiana, which was delicious. My partner is gluten free, he had risotto which was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a very full restaurant with several Christmas parties. The staff gave us a table as far from noisy tables as possible. The restaurant is an attractive space.

Amazing food, great atmosphere, staff were very attentive and always on hand to help, but also allowed time to choose what we wanted to eat without feeling under pressure.

For starters, I opted for the Bresaola Carpaccio, a beautifully balanced dish of thinly sliced cured beef dressed with lemon juice, olive oil, and a generous sprinkle of grated Parmesan. The simplicity of the ingredients allowed each flavor to shine—a perfect introduction to the meal. The main course, Spezzatino di Manzo, was the highlight. This slow-cooked beef stew, infused with carrots, bay leaves, and tender potatoes, embodied comfort and depth. The rich flavors were elevated by the addition of homemade Tuscan bread, perfect for soaking up the delicious sauce. It felt like a warm hug from Italy. To finish, I indulged in the Torta di Mele, a delightful apple tart served with creamy vanilla ice cream.
