   Food was good. French onion soup was not hot. Our waitress was very sweet but very slow. It took forever to get our pre-meal drinks and our wine during dinner. I was really expecting better.

   This is a very nice restaurant that hits on all levels. The only caveat is to what most restaurants of this quality don’t provide. Value for the money. Quality for sure, but portions for the money were small. Otherwise I would highly recommend Vivante.

   The entire experience from arrival to departure was superb. We enjoyed the devour menu and the food and the wine pairing was excellent. The ambience was perfect. The noise level was low and the service was impeccable.

   The restaurant was vastly understaffed. Our waiter brought water, took our order and cleared plates/brought the bill. Food was okay, nothing beyond ordinary except for maybe the crab cakes. Thankfully, we had a credit to use that greatly discounted the bill. Stick with what makes the Carmichael great…. libations and music.

   We had the pleasure of dining at Vivante, and our experience was made truly exceptional thanks to Olivia, our server. From the moment we were seated, she went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect. Olivia was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations tailored to our preferences. Her warm and friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and cared for throughout the meal. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and genuinely enjoys providing top-notch service.    I’m hoping our experience was not the usual one for others. Clearly understaffed. We allowed two hours for dinner before the show at the Palladium. Our server was so busy that we rarely saw her. We had no time for relaxing and had to bolt down our food when it finally arrived with no option for dessert or more than one glass of wine. We would have missed the start of the show if we hadn’t asked for the check before our food even arrived. Lights had already dimmed for the show when we arrived there. Hopefully the restaurant staff will plan better in the future. We probably won’t be back even though they were pleasant and apologetic.
