   We took some friends to celebrate a bday. The food was fantastic. must try a new item. The whipped burrata was amazing. Our friends enjoyed it, First time eating at Vivo. Good service,good food. We will be back soon.

   The absolutely best trattoria in the west. Delicious plates of the highest quality. Service that sizzles. A space and lounge that embrace you. The fresh pastas are made daily in the Junction and shipped to the resto daily. Their executive chef (Nick) touches all Dishes and moves them to an EPIC CRESCENDO!!! The setting is pure magic (right across from high park). Always offering their clients new menus regularly that compliment the season superbly. Their pizzas are loaded with exquisite imported ingredients and baked in a wood oven to a heavenly perfection.

And the food? Simply superb—every dish was a delight. The new menu highlights the perfect union between attention to detail and authentic, genuine flavors.    1st time and the food was exceptional. Timely & piping hot. Portion size was very generous. Terrific Negroni. Server was very attentive and ensured we were satisfied with our selections. The ONLY thing I was a little surprised at was despite articulating in the reservation comments re: special occasion, I indicated it was a birthday lunch. Usually, a restaurant will, at minimum throw a candle in a dessert to acknowledge - I was not expecting a freebie and in fact we shared a tiramisu. Otherwise, very good experience and I will be recommending it to friends/family.

   They must have changed Chef because the dishes this time were substandard. Calamari was so tough; pizza was soggy; rigatoni was very oily.

    Came into the restaurant for the first time after the menu refresh. Everything was 10/10. Our group was impressed with the ambiance and front of house team. Everyone was friendly and explained the menu thoroughly - checked on us often enough but not too overwhelming. The food was all extremely tasty - favourites from the apps were the croquettes, radicchio salad and prosciutto & melone. Calamari was light and tasted great with the green/white/red sauces. Favourite pastas were the papardelle and rigatoni. Tasted fab. And to top it off, the cheesecake was amazing - light, fruit forward and a great way to end the meal. Thank you so much!
