   Everyone was friendly and we were seated right away. Our waiter was friendly but not seen very often. At one point we asked to see if any gluten free crackers or bread was available and he went to check but never returned with a response. The lavender haze drink was phenomenal; so good. I ordered a glass of wine and I must say it tasted like it came from a bottle that had been sitting open for a week. I’ve never asked for a replacement drink before, but I did then. They did replace my glass and it was from a brand new bottle and was delicious. The pork chop was so overcooked that I could barely cut through it with my knife, and my husband‘s steak was very overcooked. The other items on the plate were cooked appropriately and tasted wonderful. After already asking for our replacement glass of wine, I didn’t even have it in me to ask for replacement food, which is something I’ve also never done but did consider. For the price you pay you expect the food to match, but it most definitely did not. This is our second experience at this restaurant and the first experience was much better. Hoping some improvements are made because it’s nice to have options in Conway and I do think the restaurant has potential.

   The food was amazing! The homemade kettle chips were cooked perfectly. The steak and accompaniments were delicious. The shrimp and grits were outstanding but are spicy but not too spicy. The star of the dinner was the collard greens! They were perfect. Bourbon bread pudding for dessert is my new favorite. The bread was cubed and got a great char on the top. Service was good.

   Amazing menu options, drinks were amazing. The porkchop and mashed potatoes simply the best. Will be back again and again

   We LOVE Volstead and Chef Steve’s creations. The drinks, unique bourbon selections, and specials are our favorites. We visit Volstead weekly and have never had a poor experience. Such a great addition to our city!

   Volstead Proper is a favorite for my family! Enjoyed a New Year’s Eve date night with all the wonderful food including smoked salmon dip, pot roast, smoked chicken, the best collard greens and cheesecake! And enjoyed great drinks…my husband always has 2 old fashions and says they are the best. Another great meal in a great place! Service was a little slow, but we had no other plans so it was nice to not have the servers rushing us.

   Jose was an excellent host, server, and busboy… he did it all brilliantly …he was so attentive … I loved the food soo good . Happy Conway has this place. Classy but open to everyone.

   The crab cakes, ribs, shrimp & grits were perfect. Very nice experience! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Conway. Can’t wait to go back!

    Had a good meal at VP. Service was very good. Did not have drinks but will return to try them.
