   OMG it was absolutely amazing the food was fabulous, staff were absolutely amazing and it was great to get the opportunity to walk through the kitchen all chiefs were so polite and accommodating. We were also able to get a photo with Hugh Allen and Team they are all very talented young people the thinking of creations and the work they put into these meals is just amazing. This was our 2nd time here and we will be returning again. It was also great to see a waiter who was there 10 years when first had this amazing experience ( he was from Portugal)

   So while we have been to VDM several times in the past, this was the first visit back since prior to the pandemic. And let me start by saying this was our favourite restaurant and experience of any restaurant we’ve been to (up until now!). Every single place we’ve been to since would always be compared to our gold standard which was VDM. But unfortunately this most recent visit has disappointed us to the point of no return. I will start by saying the food is still as impeccable as we have always expected and experienced at VDM. But the service has left a lot to be desired. The service literally used to be the gold standard and regardless of who you came into contact with at VDM, you would always be blown away by the genuine care and passion for exceptional service. This time however, our wait staff were very disengaged and it felt like they were just saying and doing whatever they needed to in order to hurry the night along. It felt like they couldn’t wait to get out of there and it was merely a job. In the past, everyone had treated working at VDM like it was their own restaurant and you would be treated like you were the only patron that mattered. I have to admit the kitchen staff who would deliver the dishes were top notch as they always have been but it feels like the table wait staff have been replaced with casuals from the Macca’s drive through. It was honestly very disappointing and extremely underwhelming considering we had such high expectations after years of holding this venue as our gold standard. Needless to say we will not be returning because after an experience like that which cost over $1800, it’s the first time we left feeling ripped off. I’m really sorry to leave this kind of feedback but I would love for VDM to get back to their original style which was all about service. That’s why we could never fault it because everything from the venue, to the food, and the service left you feeling amazing and never ripped off! Thanks, Steve

   The food was excellent. This was our second visit. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of our previous visit. This was a nice dinner, but for this restaurant, a nice dinner doesn’t quite cut it.

   I am a fan of the fine dining experience at Vue de Monde. Having experienced three Michelin starred meals, I believe the food at Vue de Monde is as good as it gets with flavours so delicious that I abandon etiquette to lick my plates. I am eager to return and wish I lived in Melbourne to return more often.

   What an amazing experience! Every element was outstanding from the moment we arrived! The beautiful staff, the amazing chefs and their fabulous creations and of course the gorgeous location. Thankyou to everyone for making the occasion so speical, so glad we got to experience Vue De Monde.

   Wunderbare Location im 55.Stockwerk. Der Service und die Küche bereiten einem einen großen unvergesslichen Abend. Das Essen auf äußerst hohem Niveau, wir haben jeden Gang des Chefs Menü genossen

    To the whole Vue de Monde team, from the bottom of our hearts thank you for providing Brooke and I with the most wonderful culinary experience ever. The absolute greatest! Everything on point and the extra special touches have our hearts singing. Words can’t truly express our deepest gratitude. We will definitely return with some friends in the future, who appreciate this type of journey that you took us on last night! We cannot wait to receive by email the tasting notes etc and to reminisce on what was an extraordinary night.m for our Sweet 16th. Take care and thanks for the amazing memories.
