   First time and honestly it was the worse experience I’ve ever had with the service, the serve gave us. Server was very rude, careless about service, and he didn’t care when we asked recommendations of cocktails and food. It was a table of 4 ppl- 2 couples, he gave us the bill and said I have to go, here is your bill and if you want to stay you’ll have to asked another server. We kindly asked him can you divide the bill because we ordered different food and drinks he said no I can’t. Overall the Food was great and wines too.

   Service was poor. Server only came by twice after we sat down. So we were only able to order one drink.

   Don't waste your money at the VUE rooftop dining in the Washington hotel. The food was extremely overpriced, absolutely no ambiance, seating and furniture was filthy. The server was very nice, and the view of the DC skyline was sensational. However it is a shame what they have done with a great location and ample room. This place could be so much better, such a shame.

   I wouldn't waste my time on dinner. The view is nice, maybe a drink to enjoy it. We waited for 25min after our reservation time with no explanation for the delay. The cost for the food did not match the quality. Mediocre at best. Do not recommend.

   They didn’t have the Skytop lounge with the view that we reserved. They had a private event and put us in the terrace. I would gone somewhere else if they had been honest. I liked the waiter and they gave us a free dessert after the bait and switch, but wouldn’t go back. Had a foreign exchange student we wanted to have a great view and she didn’t.

   I had a Caesar salad and calamari the calamari was good. But the Caesar salad was a little bland. The atmosphere was really nice and the view was awesome. We had a direct seat overlooking the White House.

   I came here on a Friday night and it was very nice. We had a small weight about 5 to 7 minutes and the hostess sat us with the views of the monument. The staff was very attentive, and I ordered the spinach dip. It was well cooked and they gave us enough chips for two people. I will say that the menu can be pricey if you’re looking for just a chill night, but if you’re OK with splurging a little this place is a go to Can’t wait to see what it looks like in the summertime!

   Would not recommend. The food was complete TRASH, it lacked taste, seasoning, and it was just slopped up on the plate. I had high hopes for this place but was sorely disappointed with the lack luster of the experience. Maybe it would be a nice place for a nightcap but not a dinner date on less you haven’t eaten in 5 weeks then maybe the food would be palatable.
