Located directly south of The Shanty restaurant, on the southeast corner of Wadsworth Road & US Highway 41 in Wadsworth, IL - Wadsworth Inn is open 7 nights a week starting at 4 pm and offers a cozy rustic ambiance for dining, bar service, and private events. We also feature upstairs outdoor balcony seating with picturesque views of the forest preserve. The menu offers recipes crafted from locally sourced fresh vegetables/herbs from neighborhood farms, creative dishes, timeless comfort food entrees prepared in cast iron, creative takes on fresh seafood & premium aged steaks. The menu is bold, straight forward but complex, & hyper-focused on flavor. We really enjoyed the Valentine's day menu and drink specials! Our waitress was very attentive and engaging.

Our new “go-to” place since relocating to northern Lake County. Love the Thursday night fried chicken and the “Midnight Manhattan” beverage!

We are here every Friday! Love the atmosphere and the staff is awesome (thanks Katie!) Food is always delicious although I do wish they would bring back the weekly special. Tuna tartare, fish tacos and beef stew tonight Yum!

Great meal! My husband absolutely loved his prime rib cooked perfectly! I had the smoked brisket quesadillas and they were wonderful. Their menu has something for everyone from sandwiches to steaks and more. Servers and bus staff are very attentive.

Not many restaurants have prime rib on the menu. Ours was perfectly done. Sides were delicious, especially mushroom risotto.
