Walters since 1904, and Lloyd’s Pub prior to that, 68 Upper George’s Street has been part of the social fabric of Dún Laoghaire for many generations. Now under new management, we are embarking on the next chapter and look forward to meeting you at our venue.

Walters has become one of my favorite venues in Dun Laoghaire. Always great food, great service and great value.

Food was lovely but service was very slow, we were a party of 6 and 3 meals were brought out yet there was nearly 10 mins before the remaining 3 meals were served. A family beside us waited even longer for meals to be delivered. We were then given the wrong bill and they seemed confused as how to resolve this error. The staff were all very nice but obviously some issues with managing orders and the kitchen.

Book a table for 3, but got a table for 2. Recommend visiting at a quiet time when you can pick your table.

The team at Walter’s on Christmas Eve were incredible. The food was delicious - but more than that they were attentive and in great spirits. A great evening - and a huge thank you

Had a fabulous lunch with my family today. Really enjoyed it. Atmosphere was amazing. Beautiful singer. Our waitress Zoe was fantastic. Really helpful and patient and very obliging. Will definitely be returning soon and recommending venue. Couldn’t praise the staff high enough, very personal, professional and kind. Well done 👏

Disappointed, despite very few dinners the service was slow and the food mediocre our seating area was cold forcing some to keep their overcoats on while dinning. So overall disappointed.

We called in early for a drink before dinner and really enjoyed the atmosphere of a lively bar. We were offered a choice of two tables and then the food was fabulous! Lovely staff, great food and a great setting... We'll definitely be back.

Everything about the place was excellent but the only gripe was that the Guinness Pie, as written in menu, was not a Pie!! Small portion of cubed meat and mash on plate!! Very disappointed as never had a Pie with no pastry!!!

I really enjoy Walter’s as a day time venue, I find it really family friendly and have never had issues going with friends with multiple buggies. On this occasion we had lunch and the burger was cold but the seafood pasta was very good and even enjoyed by my toddler. Found it quite expensive for what it wall was though
