Watch Hill Proper is a must-visit for bourbon enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Their selection of bourbon is vast and impressive, offering something for every palate. The service was exceptional, with Chef Michael Crouch personally introducing the specials and checking in throughout the meal to ensure a top-notch experience. The mussels were delicious, and the special short ribs with brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection. Every detail, from the attentive service to the expertly crafted dishes, made for a fantastic dining experience and evening with friends. Highly recommended!

Everything was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit at Watch Hill Proper & will definitely be back. Sara was an amazing server & very knowledgeable.

It was amazing! Super great atmosphere, and our server was amazing with excellent recommendations and knew the menu like the back of his hand!

My husband and our other guest ordered the Duck dish. It was not very warm. I can’t say it was cold but definitely not warm enough.

Service was excellent. My wife’s fish was undercooked and my pasta was cool. Tasty but was not warm. Manager was very nice. Will give you another try.

The ribeye was absolutely incredible. Our server, Chris was top notch. Will for sure be back.

We had a medium sized group looking for a place to celebrate a birthday. Wonderful place. Excellent service.

This was our 2nd time at this restaurant and we were extremely disappointed with our food. The complimentary starter was so spicy we couldn't eat it. My lobster was tough, chewy and tasteless. My husband had the duck breast and 90% of it was fat! The half sweet/half non-sweet ice tea was 80% sweet. They also had two days to refund my initial charge of $128 but waited until the day of our reservation before they refunded it. I am not sure if we will go back.

Food was overpriced but taste was good. Drinks were great. Ambience was excellent. Didn’t give it 5 stars because of price of food for what you got.

First, our server Sam was upbeat, friendly and attentive. We never felt neglected or rushed. We started with mussels, which were amazing. My main course was the bone in ribeye, which was perfectly cooked, sided with parsnips that were a nice addition. My wife opted for scallops, which were very large as scallops go, but incredibly tender and tasty. Of course the drinks were also top notch. Very pleased
