I’ve been to this restaurant several times but tonight was off. We had a short window with tickets to a concert next door. Had to wait 15 minutes for our reservation and then it took a while to get going. The salads were good but needed additional dressing. Same with the sauce on the crab cake. Very very sparse.

Very busy evening. Watched our drinks sit at the bar for ten minutes before they were picked up and served. Cold martinis were no longer cold. Octopus appetizer was very chewy. Didn’t see much of our server the entire meal. This has not been our experience in the past. We have had a much better experience previously.

The Cioppino was excellent and the sea bass was good (a little plain for our liking). Very energetic place with lots of vibe.

Reservation was made 2 weeks in advance for my GF's birthday, and arriving on time resulted in a greeting from a very rude hostess. Then, seated in the bar next to a wide-screen TV with a volume way too high, I requested to be reseated and offered a worse table. I would not recommend it for a special occasion. The Water Grill in Downtown LA is so much nicer. I was amazed at the rudeness of the young hostess staff and the careless attitude.

Went with res for 4 - Birthday dinner. Seated by staff prep station - so loud we could not have a conversation without yelling. Food was great- service was great.

I’ve always enjoyed dining at the water Grill. Except for last night reservations were at 10:15 after ballet the service was not good. It felt rushed as if he wanted to go home. The food served was cold for both me and my guest. I was given wrong information about the menu. I had to ask for bread three times. I was so disappointed.

We went for my dad’s birthday. He a meat-and-potatoes guy, he THOROUGHLY enjoyed his fish. It was the first time seeing him devour his lunch. Ralph, our server, treated us very well, often catering to my parents’ needs. My mom even told him that she wants to bring her siblings next theme they’re in town. Much thanks!

We had a very long experience last night. It was quite nice. We started with stone crab and cocktails at the bar and then had dinner in the dining room. Everything was perfect outstanding Ding quality and outstanding service.
