   The location is great - the décor is very dated; more in the early 2000's style. In addition the restaurant carries the odors of a dated décor mixed with spilled alcohol near the entrance in the bar. We ordered the following dishes: Prawn cocktail - the prawns were medium sized and although tasted pretty good, we extremely smelly - you almost had to hold your breath to eat them. The cocktail sauce was excellent. Then came Lobster bisque; which had fairly good flavor, but did not use a cream base which we were expecting and rather more like broth. The fresh croutons in the soup were excellent. Maybe a suggestion as most come to SF to enjoy creamy New England chowder - add that as well to the menu. The fish and chips breaded in cornmeal was far less enjoyable. The fish was tasteless and slimy and fell apart when attempting to cut even the smallest piece. The cornmeal coating was also flavorless and absolutely fell into crumbs when attempting to consume it. You almost has to use a spoon to eat as it literally just falls apart with even the smallest attempt to cut and eat with a fork. All in all, until they redecorate and revise the menu items we had; you'll have a far better meal at a more touristy restaurant on Fisheman's Wharf.

   Food was amazing as always. Even the milk bread and butter. Can’t beat the view of the bridge and the water. Perfect to stroll along the water after dinner.

   Fish and chips had more crumps abd very little fish. Halibut tastewise was average... I have seen better banana split ice cream arrangements !

   Oysters on the half shell at the bar with some of the City's most sophisticated cocktails and views. Absolutely fresh and fabulous. Recently we dined on cooked seafood, specifically the Dorade. Wow! This was so delicious and we highly recommend dining with Waterbar while this dish is on the menu. The portion is generous and the execution perfect! Polish it off with the dark chocolate sorbet. So happy!

   Every time I visit San Francisco, I eat at the Waterbar. The food is truly amazing and the service is impeccable. The servers know everything about the food and the ingredients which are of high quality. The wine selection is awesome and the Sourdough and Milk-bread are a must. The view of the bridge is incredible as well. I hosted 8 people for dinner and everyone loved their meal and the experience. From the hostess to the wait staff, the service is top notch. I will be back in SFO in June and will definitely be dining at Waterbar.

    We picked this restaurant out of luck to celebrate our wedding anniversary during our stay in San Francisco . This was one of the best dining experience ever! The menu unique and the view and service out of this world .
