Thoroughly disappointing experience. On arrival we were seated at a small round table in the thoroughfare between the dining room and the bar, right where all the dirty dishes were collecting. The table itself looked like an afterthought, tiny with no tablecloth unlike the nice large square tables everywhere else. The whole time we had wait staff brushing past us, dirty dishes ever growing. We couldn’t wait to get out of there from the minute we arrived. The food itself was average. I ordered the fried snapper curry (the curry was bland) where the fillets are removed and the skeleton is fried and presented on the plate. Unless I am mistaken, all fish have two sides and therefore two fillets but I must have got the only fish in existence that had one fillet. Or more likely the restaurant was short changing diners and doubling their profit. My wife had the prawns that were average to small in size. 4 of them for $45 with some rice. Not what we expected at all. To top it all off when we raised the issue we were told it was our fault.

Outstanding service, excellent food, extensive wine list. Wonderful ambience. We will definitely be back! The perfect place to celebrate any birthday or a romantic dinner or just because!

We chose Waterfront to celebrate our 30th Wedding anniversary as we both love seafood. It proved to be a wonderful choice. We each had entrees and main courses and shared a desert. Every dish was promptly served, suitably proportioned and delicious. Had time for a romantic stroll on the beach after.

Food is superb and service staff are first class, very friendly and very helpful. Saturday night noise level is such that it is difficult to hear someone on opposite side of table but at other times this not so much of a problem..

Great food, wine and service. Disappointing in that I had advised when booking that one guest was vegetarian who disliked pumpkin but no preparation nor awareness was made. Waiter worked out options at the table finally!

Disappointing experience . Lovely setting , interesting menu but lacked ambience and service well below that you’d expect of a high end restaurant it is trying to be .

We shared the burrata for entree , it was delicious. I had the flounder for my main. It was very tasty but it had too much oil surrounding it for my liking. The salad was yummy that we shared. The service was impeccable, the surroundings are lovely. Highly recommend.

Really delicious food and a great menu to choose from. Service was also very good. Didn’t expect something this good outside of the city
