   We enjoyed an excellent meal here on 1/23/25. The ceviche salad was fresh and large enough to feed 2. The shrimp fettuccine was perfectly cooked and the beef medallion special was well seasoned and delicious. The restaurant sits between the resort pool and the beach, which made for a nice outdoor ambiance.

   Dinner was excellent, service outstanding, and very reasonably priced for sunset sitting directly on Eagle Beach. The live music was entertaining and a nice background for the dinner hours. A wonderful experience all the way around.

   We make a point of having at least one meal at Water’s Edge every time we come to Aruba. This year was no exception. We arrived in time for Happy Hour. I had a Miami Vice. This restaurant allows you to have a single drink for half price during Happy Hour. My husband had the Aruba Ariba. They bring one and when you finish it they bring the second one so it doesn’t get watered down. We shared the ceviche appetizer since it is so large (and delicious!). For our main course I had the special Pink Lady Seafood Pasta and my husband had Spicy Seafood Pasta. Both were delicious and so huge neither of us could finish them - but we ate all the seafood in them. We were too full to even consider dessert. A wonderful time and a wonderful meal.

   Overall was a terrible experience. We’re sat at a table outside in COMPLETE DARKNESS. My wife’s pasta dish was just generally not very good. My medium steak came blue and had to be sent back. Was given a shaken can of beer that exploded all over our table. Although obviously dissatisfied we’re still charged and expensive full price with an added service charge already on the bill. Was easily our worst dining experience in all of Aruba. Don’t bother, go somewhere else.

   We had a dinner at Water Edge restaurant first time during our annual visits to Aruba and were a little disappointed. First of all it was very dark at the table on a front raw near the water, a little candle did not provide sufficient light so most of the people used cellphone’s flashlights to read their menu. Even lampposts nearby did not work. Wanted to take pictures but could not do that due to the darkness, even eating was a kind of a challenge. I asked about another candle and the waitress brought it, but it did not help. The food was not bad but not as delicious as we had at Chalet Suisse or Passions on the Beach. We ordered crispy calamari appetizer, grouper and red snapper as main entries and Tiramisu as a dessert. Everything was eatable but not much enjoyable. It was nice violin live music, that we really enjoyed .

   Food and service was very good. Very disappointed we had to eat inside and not able to eat outside. The ambience is just not there and the noise level was very loud.

    I had a delicious grilled vegetable salad with grouper. My husband's mahi-mahi with Creole sauce was also very good. The wait staff were polite and gracious. We sat outside but there were a lot of flies so, next time, we would eat in the covered outdoor area.
