   We had a lovely meal about 3months ago so decided to come again. We had a roast dinner and my friends was very disappointing. It would be nice to have roast sliced thinly. Her beef came ina big think slice. Very fatty hard to cut and chew. I had lamb which was lovely. The carrots you couldnt eat as so hard. Very diaapponting

   Breakfast at The Wattenden today was superb!!!! Lovely Christmas atmosphere, service as always was fantastic and the full English was excellent!!!! The ingredients were very high quality! Will definitely be back for breakfast again soon

   Great food home cooked which is rare nowadays. Service excellent and we had the luxury of live music which was gentle in the background. As a bonus my partner had his favourite beer Harvey’s there. I’ve rebooked for Christmas Eve.

   Wet poor welcome from person behind the bar- felt we were intruding However service at table was excellent and food good.

   Really pleased we tried the Wattenden Arms. We haven't been before. We had the shared mixed roast and it was really good value for money and delicious freshly prepared food. It's a lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Very family and dog friendly. I would highly recommend.

    Great atmosphere, warm friendly pub great service. But sadly our food wasn’t great. Half roast chicken roast, chicken was dry and mostly bone and not very nice maybe sliced roast chicken would be better. Veg was nice ok. I had burger and chips bun was burnt, chips slightly overdone and meat was dry. Will return for drinks and atmosphere but sadly not for food
