West Texas Chophouse is setting the new standard for steakhouses in town. Serving Sterling Silver Premium dry-aged and wet-aged steaks butchered on site, burgers, sandwiches, and house-made desserts, all served in a casual yet modern and refined setting. Our reservation was honored for 8:15 and we were quickly seated and our drink order was taken. We ordered our food and we were disappointed as to how long it took to have it ready. Our waiter, twice apologized for the delay. I’m not sure if they were short staffed but this is the 2nd time straight that we have been disappointed. Not to mention that half my order was wrong and the food being lukewarm. The service is great but the delay certainly caused a ripple on our schedule for the evening. I must add that a supervisor quickly corrected the situation by bringing my correct order. This is a shame since one pays good money at such a fine establishment only to to have 2 straight disappointing experiences. Might have to go back to Corralitos for a fine dining experience.

10 out of 10. I got the chipotle pasta with shrimp. It was very flavorful I left like it had things that weren’t necessary but it’s a preference thing, it came with some jalapeños, bell peppers, onions, and grape tomatoes. The sauce was a perfect amount of spice. I’m a texture person so I removed the tomatoes. we had the spinach queso dip that was delicioso!! we alsp got a 16 oz ribeye and it was cooked perfectly, it came with a baked potato. The Atmosphere was relaxed, dim lit, romantic if you want to be romantic. Friendly staff. They also had someone offering a sample of a type of steak they sell I wish I could remember the name because it was very soft, flavorful and delicious

Everything was great except that I had a reservation and they took 30 mins to get my table ready. Which they did not have ready o a table available. I waited the same time of people that did not have a reservation which I thought was ridiculous. I was standing with gifts and cake for 30 mins with a reservation days prior for a Birthday..! I was very disappointed in how reservations are handled!

Had a great time, enjoying excellent food! Loves the nachos, the chipotle spaghetti and the fillet mignon.

Making reservations ahead of time was very helpful. The restaurant is very clean, modern, and warmly lit to make for a relaxing atmosphere despite the moderate noise. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was perfectly fine. Food presentation was superb and I really liked that the server asked us to cut our steaks in front of him to make sure it was cooked to our expectations. My wife and I would regularly go to Texas Roadhouse but I think we just found a new spot that's also much closer to home.

Overall experience was good. The wonderful service made up for small mistakes that happened through the dinner. First they were out of New York strips even thought it was only 6pm. Then a drink from the bar came with a dirty glass and the manager had to get it replaced . Then two of the four stakes came out undercooked, were sent back, one came out better, one they completely redid and it came out very rare with purple instead of medium. It had to go back again, manger brought it out and informed us thermometer was broken and it was right this time. They gave us a free desert for the trouble. Overall food was very good and we would go back.
