Westward Social is closed for the Spring and will reopen on June 8 for Summer!
We are a craft cocktail bar catering to après guests who are looking for a fun and energetic atmosphere after a day on the mountain. Serving signature craft cocktails, local microbrews and wines. Guests will find a lively space including outdoor patio seating to enjoy both the stellar view of Lone Peak as well as the excitement of the village atmosphere.

A unique contemporary Americana menu features items that are focused on communal, sharing, and exciting small plates. It’s upscale casual, fun, après focused.

Menu is over-priced, and the food was inconsistent based on the 5 of us that ordered. the portions were quite big but the chicken wings were over cooked. Our server was excellent and knowledgeable of the menu. They reaccommodated our time and our table preference once we got there so that was positive.

They recently changed the menu and not for the good. The Parmesan garlic cauliflower had no flavor and the crab and spinach dip was odd. One of the only high points were the french fries. Very disappointed overall. Have been going here for a couple years and this felt like a downgrade.

The blackened Mahi was cooked to death. One set of fries came out cold and limp. My blackened salmon was good but raw on the inside. Very good chicken wings. The trout I had for lunch was very good.

We (party of 2) dined at Westward Social on 12/27/24. The service was terrible. We ordered food at 6:40pm and I expressly asked the waiter to please place all orders in at the beginning and bring them when ready. He brought a Caesar Salad (not a great one with old wilted lettuce) fairly quickly but our food came 1hr 20 minutes later at 8 pm and only after I told him it was not ok that we waited 1hr 20 minutes while the table next to us came 15 minutes after us and got their food much earlier than us. He kindly brought me a glass of wine to apologize but nevertheless we sat there starving for about an hour more than it should have taken him to bring a burrata salad and a lobster sandwich. Also, despite being so late, at least 5 times, he came to clear the half full plates we were still eating out of. The last time, I asked if he needed our table and he said no. Seems like this restaurant does not understand what good restaurant service means. Will never go there again and I don’t recommend it to anyone else. There are much better options.

The service was very good but- Our food was very bland. We ordered trout and it was bland and dry. The vegetable succotash was a canned corn mix. This is a bar atmosphere- more beer and mixed drinks. Wine by the glass was not good.

Okay so this is not a $100/plate restaurant, therefore I rate a 4 not 5. Service by Paige is excellent. View is really nice. The price of a glass of wine is a bit tough to take.
