   Whiskey Cake is such an odd name, and for those living on the West Coast, it got me curious. I would say it has an excellent staff, but the food is hit-and-miss. Restaurants need to stop changing menus so quickly and let people get a little bored first.

   Birthday celebration for my wife. Food was excellent, my wife had the steak frites. She said the steak was “melt in your mouth” good. I had the burger, juicy and a great crust. The adult beverages were well made and good. The Whiskey Cake was “out of this world” good. Like a sticky toffee bun, it was awesome. I couldn’t hear his name, but our waiter was considerate, not pushy, informative and friendly.

   We met friends for dinner. The food was delicious, but we were disappointed the tri tip dip sandwich is no longer on the menu. The goat cheese fondue was delicious also, except the portion was much smaller than we have had in the past. The whiskey cake was awesome. Ricky took care of us and he was fun and very nice.

   Just a wonderful evening! Our server was warm and friendly. I had the Farm Bird for my meal and it was amazing! Hands down the best rotisserie chicken I have ever had. This was my third time here and it has been great every time.
