   We waited for over 15 minutes for a server to come and greet our table and bring water. I finally had to go ask the hostess to please send someone over. I ordered coffee but requested additional sugar, the waitress never brought any and my coffee was already cold by the time I reminded her and for her to bring some and she didn’t offer to bring me a fresh hot cup. The food was delivered quickly and was good, but the waitress never came back to check to make sure everything was good, and never cleared the table. We had to once again go to the hostess to get the waitress so we could order dessert. (At least 30 minutes had passed from the time we finished our meals before I went back to the hostess stand). Dessert was good and delivered promptly, so there were no issues with the kitchen side of the experience. The restaurant was not busy at all, (there were only 3 tables in our section during this time frame), and once we received our checks, it was another 20 minutes before she came back to process them. I’m thankful that my friend and I were catching up and not in a hurry, otherwise we’d have had to have been at the hostess station so much more frequently. (There’s literally no reason for guests to have to go and request service from the hostess if the waitstaff and manager are keeping themselves abreast of who’s in the weeds and who needs help).

   We had a 9:30pm reservation and when we arrived we were told there would be a 2 hour wait. I asked if they were staying open late to accommodate this wait since they close at 11, and the hostess was not sure but also said they were running out of food so there was a chance we’d never be served. There was no empathy for the fact we drove 30 minutes each way to dine there, or that it was a special occasion and there was no where else we’d be able to go at the last minute. We’ve come to Whiskey Cake a number of times now and it was starting to become a staple and special place for us to have dates but now I’m not sure we’ll go back. The experience was very disappointing and having stated they’d been backed up for hours a phone call or email at the least before we drove so far would have been appreciated.

   The staff was really helpful and managed to find us a table inside after the outside area was a little to Smokey from the fireplace. They had an amazing Valentine’s Day special that made it romantic

   I'm definitely going to always be down to go if I have some money..pricey but for the most part worth it

   We held a Galentines for our work group there and everything was perfect! The staff were so accommodating, and Alexis was a great server! She was very friendly and attentive. We are already planning next year's Galentines event at Whiskey Cake.

   Overall good experience. Would have preferred traditional seating over counter height seating with a young diner that wasn’t comfortable in the higher seat. Food was good. Would love some new items to be added to the menu

   The staff was great—very nice and efficient. We had a party of 27 people, and every meal came out in a timely manner and was served warm. I was especially impressed that everyone’s bill was accurate, and the payment process was quick and smooth. No complaints at all; we will definitely return!
