This was our first visit to a cool place with a catchy name. We made a reservation for an early time, but it looked like we could have walked in and gotten a table. Service was top notch - the waiter was attentive and knew both the menu and the sizeable drink list. The menu was as advertised - Texas meat and seafood. The whiskey offerings were vast, though pricey. Food portions were sizeable. Our appetizer - brisket nachos - was tasty; the entrees (we had the short rib and flounder) were good, but not in a knock your socks off way. The cost made it a medium value, but a nice experience. All in all, this would be a good occasional dining spot, say for special occasions, unless you are interested in an upscale burger or other American fare. We'll be back again.

Lots of different seating options. If you’re looking for less noise choose outside or back room. Drink orders are slow. Food is very good. Steaks can be hit or miss though. Manager Caleb is terrific.

Worst service we have had in a while and when you are paying that much I expect much more. The food was decent but my steak was rare when I requested medium and after they put it back on the grill the outside was burnt black and tasted burnt. I ordered tea right when we seat down and didn’t get it until our food came out way later after several reminders.

Our server was amazing, but I took away one star because we were seated near the kitchen area and the other servers kept bumping our table and didn’t even notice when they almost swung a tray into one of our friends. Honestly, if there was a bit more space in that walkway it would have made all the difference. In general, the food and service was fantastic. Totally intend to head back out there. It was expensive, but the quality matched the price.

I really wanted to love this new restaurant. We were seated by the hostess by a door and the cold air kept blowing in. I asked to move to an open table that was deeper into the restaurant. She refused saying they had a lot of reservations. Of which I was one! I had to wear my coat throughout dinner. It was very noisy and I could not hear my husband across the table. It is very expensive. The food is good and it was hot but not worth the price being charged. I won't be returning.

loved the food, loved the service but really disliked the overwhelming noise. To the point I would only want to sit out on the patio or dine during the mid afternoon if I return. Very difficult to hear others at your table at all and very difficult to hear your servers. I would have loved to try deserts, but I just wanted to get out of the noise, so we went somewhere else to have desert.

The filet was good. The flounder was served with a wonderful brown butter sauce and pecans and while that was very good the fish itself was a little bland in flavor. The green beans were just ok as well as the Mac and Cheese. The green beans were overpowered by the items that they mixed in to them. I enjoy a more true southern style green bean. Salmon dip was good. Overall I would come back to try other items on the menu.
