Lovely food. Decent wait to be seated despite booking, get they were busy but not a great start to be walked past and not acknowledged for some time. Food made up for it though and cheerful staff. Only one other thing - would suggest serving water to table and not having a self-service setup. A bit ordinary to have to get yourself for table service and conscious we weren’t the oldest group in the room. Appreciate someone must have asked for the music to be tuned down and that was done! Overall a really nice experience, wish them well!

Wonderful place to eat - we were outside because we had our dogs with us, but it was just lovely overlooking the lake - we’ll be back time and time again.

It’s obvious that Whitby’s are committed to both good food and an extraordinary merry bunch of staff from first point of service to the last farewell All our meals were creatively constructed with colours and aromas to excite the senses. Children’s meals are presented as appealing as the adults. Portions sizes appropriate to age as to not overwhelm the young diner. Consideration, curtesy and a little fun given to have them comfortable to order for themselves Appropriate selection of music from resident DJ steering the scene with the feeling of a countryside dining experience, silencing the ever passing traffic no too far away Will definitely return 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Easily the best breakfast in Bendigo. The scrambled eggs are SO GOOD and I am very fussy. Is it the cheapest around? No. But you get what you pay for people and it’s worth every cent. Great food, great service and great location. Nuff said.

The DJ was a miss. Went in looking for a relaxed lake view Saturday vibe to catch up with my guests and instead got a reverberating boom boom of a DJ set more suited to 3am.
