Welcome to a corner of the French Mediterranean. Nestled between London’s St James and Soho, Whitcomb’s serves modern interpretations of classic dishes found along the sunny stretches of the French and Italian rivieras. Simple yet elegant cuisine, prepared à la minute.

Whether it is a family-style get together of 12 or a table for two, join us at Whitcomb’s for a Sunday lunch between 12-5pm. Reared by Aldens family butchers in Oxfordshire, our French-inspired roasts include a delicious Eastwyke Farm rib of beef and a corn-fed lemon butter chicken, carved at your table, as well as a Portobello mushroom Wellington. Accompanying sides suffuse the classics with a hint of Whitcomb’s personality. Think red wine jus, cauliflower gratin, roast potatoes, and a selection of seasonal vegetables, all supplied by premium greengrocer Le Marché. Pair your meal with excellent wines or a 14-ingredient Bloody Mary to get the senses tingling. Our Sunday roast starts at £22, and additional items may incur an extra cost.

Our group dining menus encompass a wide range of dishes, designed to please every palate (including vegetarian and gluten-free options). Enjoy a table for 9+ guests in a semi-private spot, perfect for soaking up the atmosphere of the restaurant. Please note, we do not take deposits. A credit card is required to make a booking. Reservations are accepted 72 hours prior to your booking time otherwise it may be cancelled. Additional dishes can be ordered on the night to supplement your dining experience.

Sunday Roast was ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING! Definitely try the roast beef it was cooked to perfection and sooooooo tasty. No need for starters as the main course was more than ample and the desserts............. Well!! Service was impeccable and not rushed and the ambience in the restaurant made you feel so relaxed. We will DEFINATLEY be returning!! 5*

We worked our way through a wonderfully curated 4 course menu for Valentines. Great food and wonderful service from our warm and friendly waitress and a great wine pick from the sommelier. Thoroughly enjoyed.

The set menu is very good value. The food is good. The service was excellent. Sneha looked after us so well and was very attentive. Good place to go if you want p&q without loud music blaring out!

The food was outstanding - my partner and I had the vegetarian Sunday roast and it was without doubt the best we have ever had and the portions were huge! In terms of value, £22.00 is superb, especially considering the quality and quantity! The service was also fantastic with really friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant is beautiful as well - I honestly could not recommend it highly enough.

We had a lovely meal and our waiter was exceptional , but we sat in a bench seat with people behind and the seat was constantly moving rocking from the people behind which was really off putting , and the lady next to us ,I heard complained about the same thing . Can you not part the chairs away from the people behind ?
