   From the Host/GM, Scott, to the awesome service from new bartender, Grayson(?) they gave attentive, kind and generous hospitality service to me when my potential business partner didn’t show up so I stayed at the bar. Bravo to the Chef for the cool name of “White Bull” as I lived down the street in Oak Park where Ernest Hemingway was born and the artisanal farm-to-table foods you are creating like your Vidalia onions Scott insisted I try. They were phenomenal with that garlic aioli sauce was the perfect complement! All the best success, and if I’m in this area again I will be sure to try your new menu! From an award-wining “OpenTable-Best Top 10 Brunch in Chicago” after just opening for less then 6 mos and many top hospitality owners/friends, keep it up! Mary Moy-Gregg

   We booked a last minute reservation, close to closing. Not only were they accommodating, service was great, and food was amazing. The server stated this was a farm to table restaurant and it showed. Food was fresh and the pasta was made from scratch.

   The pasta dishes were fantastic, the appetizers were good. The black spaghetti and the bolognese were absolutely delicious. The olive oil cake was not great but the pink pepper corn tuille was absolutely delicious. I wish it had been paired with a pan a cotta or something lighter than the olive oil cake.

   White bull great food as always! Service is always also nice :) My husband and I do however miss the food included in the happy hour from 4-6 every day - was the biggest reason we used to come and now only drinks are included on that menu.

   Second time going with a large group of friends! Such a great experience. Staff is excellent and drinks are next level

   This is one of our go to spots for Decatur and I love the seasonal pasta menu. I was exciting to do the pasta tasting for my birthday last night. Unfortunately, they had an off night. We called it quits mid tasting it was taking so long between courses and the pasta wasn’t the usual spectacular fair. Pretty bummed that is how I spent my birthday and hope it was just an off night and not the case where a good restaurant slowly goes down hill. Outside space was beautiful, manager who is our favorite bartender was helpful, server seemed overwhelmed and avoided us until we flagged her down when we needed a drink or to finally call it quits. If she had communicated we would have left earlier and felt less disappointed overall. To pay close to 400 with tip for this experience on my birthday was a little sad.

   We’ve been there a few times Lee the last couple of years. We’ve always enjoyed our meals there until today. Since our last visit in October 2024, the happy hour menu was basically eliminated. The portions got smaller but price has increased. Drink prices are pretty high, too. We paid $70+ for two people and on the way home, we were thinking about stopping somewhere else for drinks and more food. Disappointed.

   Food was fantastic. Service was a little slow as they were busy. Seating is close quarters so it was loud and less private.
