   The service was outstanding. The schnitzel, mashed potatoes were very good and the pork shank was absolutely hands down delicious. However the potato salad was incredibly mustardy and the sauerkraut was dry and more sour that it should be. The potatoes served with the pork shank were undercooked. Overall I was disappointed and I wouldn’t go back for the price.

   We underestimated the portion sizes for breakfast. It was huger than we thought and definitely filled us up before we could even finish.

   We made reservations online for Thanksgiving dinner was told half of the items were out after we were seated for the dinner then the waiter came back said they actually had everything still the food was dry and bland they attempted to charge me for 5 adult plates with all my kids under 10 worst experience ever. Will never eat there again. Cost me 240 for 5 people for Thanksgiving dinner what a joke.

   We’ve previously enjoyed a visit and couldn’t wait to go back. However, the food didn’t live up to our expectations. The SCHNITZEL PARMIGIANA was dry. The “robust tomato sauce” was so sparse we didn’t taste it as was the cheese. There were 4 of us. The Caesar salad was enjoyed as was the 2 cakes.

   Very rustic. Think rustic cabin mixed with a sports bar. Food was great the beer is even better.

   Wonderful experience at Wild Bear Tavern! We went there for dinner, and the food & service were excellent. It's definitely a must try while visiting Pigeon Forge!

   It was ok. The table was dirty when we sat down. The food was pretty good although I've had better German. The potato pancakes were outstanding as was the apple strudel, although it wasn't traditional strudel. The red cabbage was OK but needed more flavor. The traditional schitzel wasn't traditional as it was not breaded but was tasty if not a little too salty. It was a little overcooked with lots of darker than desired sear on the bottom. The server was very good and did the best she could do with very little help. I find that most restaurants in Pigeon Forge are very average. It seems they cater to tourists and know they won't be back. It's a constant stream of new people who are very easily impressed.

    Food was decent/good. Service was excellent. Smell from the restrooms wafting into the entire restaurant- gross.
