Wild Rye is a new addition to the culinary and cocktail experience at Brasada Ranch—defining Central Oregon’s high desert cuisine. Led by Executive Chef Karl Holl, every dish is intricately tied to the land, the season, and the lifestyle of the region, whether foraged from the surroundings, grown by Central Oregon farms, or philosophically connected to the desert.

Wild Rye is open to all – Brasada Ranch members and guests, and the general public. Everyone is invited to taste bold local flavors and enjoy a unique dining experience!

    Food was amazing, service was great. Started with rolls and the wedge salad. We both had the filet and it was cooked perfectly with a ton of flavor. The only downside of this place is the layout. Some of the tables are literally in the lounge/host area/bar. I would not have enjoyed eating at one of those tables at this price point. They need to figure out a better layout or way to sit people.

    I had a fabulous experience at Wild rye. I was seated right away, the server was so friendly and nice. She explained the dishes very well. Each dish was obviously prepared with care. I can not remember having ever had such delicious food. The lamb shank was so flavorful and tender. The polenta bites were crunchy and garlicky which I love. My partner and I had the most delicious mixed green salad that was so refreshing and interesting. I will rave about this meal to everyone I meet and will definitely go back. The only criticism I can make is that it was hard to find our way out since it was dark when we left. Signage could be better.

    We had a very enjoyable dinner at Wild Rye. Both the cocktails as well as the wine list offer great choices. The oysters were fabulous and we loved the baked Brie. I had the lamb shank which was really delicious. We are very much looking forward to dining at this restaurant again in the future!

    Although I’ve read and heard many good reviews for the new Wild Rye at Brasada, my experience was definitely underwhelming. The food is overly fussy, and the flavors not to my liking. I won’t go back. Kudos to our server, Christina, though, she was great.
