   First time we went was excellent and we were excited to return. Second time, the food was not good. The mushroom appetizer was delicious the first time but completely inedible the second and the remainder of the meal was sub par, at best. Service was extremely slow, disorganized, and disappointing. Very sad because we were really hoping this would be our new go to place when in Jackson. Wondering if they changed the chef and wait staff in between visits? Whatever happened, it wasn’t good.

   We are locals and have eaten at both the old and the new Wild Sage. The old Wild Sage when Travis was the chef was terrific. We always had a great meal. Since the reopening of the Wild Sage we have been twice now and been very disappointed to the point that we will not return. On the first occasion my duck was a huge disappointment. My wife’s pork chop was delicious. We ate last night. The pork chop was taken off the menu being replaced by a pork loin. It was average at best. I had the tuna which was awful. The Brussels sprouts salad was delicious as was the bread. The meal was way too expensive to return. Sadly this was our last visit. There are much better restaurants in town.

I’m sorry to hear your recent visit was disappointing, and we did not meet the expectations set by your previous experiences. Our menu changes often to highlight creative, seasonal dishes with the best ingredients, but it seems our changes, like replacing the pork chop with the pork loin, didn’t meet your satisfaction.    Truly a fine dining experience but in a relaxed atmosphere. The food is the best in Jackson Hole and the service is superb. Dining at the Rust Parrot is a treat.

   This was a fantastic dinner, definitely one of the top restaurants in Jackson. Service was great, attentive, and conscience of our experience. (there was one individual at another table who was a little loud with some off color language, our server addressed the issue, apologized to us, and comped us a dessert- all proactively with no direction or comments from us). Food was out of this world from start to finish. We will be returning here. It is a gem!

   This is my 6th time here and I love it so much! Everything I’ve ate or drank has been pure perfection and I trust their quality every time. The staff is also amazing and we adore the ambience!

   We had a lovely dinner for 4. The service was outstanding, barely new they were there. The food was perfect, excellent portions and the flavors were very special. Loved the peaceful atmosphere and ambiance.
