   The best meal we had in our 5 days in Tulum! Even better than the Michelin starred ARCA, in our opinion. The food was so delicious, we really enjoyed the flavors and the presentation but didn’t feel like it was just about the presentation but about making really enjoyable flavors as well. For cocktails I had the fleur sauvage and my husband had Mr. Mustachio. Both really good. For starters we got the chicharron, oh my goodness, it is to die for, we want to try and recreate it when we get home. Next we had the best salad, I could eat it for dessert, so good. The Salmon aguachile was amazing. The grilled octopus was good too but not our favorite compared to the rest. We had the chocolate for dessert and it was creamy and a delicious blend of flavors. Our server recommended a drink to pair with the dessert and it was perfect. Our service was really great, we had a British gal (sorry we didn’t catch her name) she was so helpful and personable. The atmosphere was peaceful and such a cool experience feeling like you’re in the jungle. We even witnessed a raccoon climbing a tree! The architecture in the restaurant was pure art. We kept marveling at the cement/wood diamond structures balancing atop angled wooden poles. Something you’d have to see in person to appreciate. The only negative I’d say was the uncomfortable wooden chairs and the fact that our table was on an angle. My bottom was pretty sore by the end of the dinner. Lol. But I know the wooden seats are pretty standard in Tulum, probably because of the rain. Overall great experience and top notch food!

   It’s a very nice restaurant, however they have a resin smoke blowing throughout which makes it hard to taste any of the food.

   We had the most incredible dinner at Wild Tulum. Every bite, every flavor was unreal. The presentation was impeccable and the service was 10/10. I’ve been to many restaurants in Tulum and this felt like a hidden gem. We will be coming back.

   This was my second experience at WILD Tulum. I have been trying all the Michelin star restaurants in Tulum and so far this is the best. It’s def better than Arca! Everything is very intentional but feels so relaxed! The food is fresh with a complex, sophisticated palate. I just love this place.

   What a disappointment! We have consistently had amazing meals in Tulum and Wild did not meet just a satisfactory meal. We had not realized that the restaurant is way past the busy Tulum thoroughfare and we arrived 45 minutes after our reservation time. The hostess was gracious and sat us right away in the spectacularly appealing restaurant. That is when the meal started going downhill. The service was shockingly inattentive. We asked a few times for water bottles, and it took way too long to bring them to the table. Our appetizers came and they were interesting and not particularly good. We did like our cocktails and a few at the table asked for a second but alas they never arrived. The wait staff never checked in on us. The entrees arrived and were at best mediocre. Then when paying the cheerful waitress suggested a 20% tip which we reduced to 15%. Also, be careful if you pay with American dollars. The restaurant advertised an exchange rate very different from what banks or our hotel offered (16 Mexican peso to $1.).

   Outstanding food, both in quality and creativity. Simply delicious. Also the cocktails very fancy and good. Would highly reccomend.

   Rapturous dining experience! Adventurous and harmonious flavor combinations. Casual but intentional atmosphere and music just right for good vibes but clear conversation.
