Our philosophy is to attempt to source wild-caught fish, local pasture-raised poultry and grass-fed poultry, as well as plant-based meals that promise to be flavorful options to those who choose to eat meat-free. We offer allergen sensitive options for gluten-free, dairy-free, nut and seed free. Whenever possible we strive to offerproducts without hormones and steroids and the restaurant strives to be cruelty free and to supports local organic, biodynamic and sustainable farms. Provisions not made in house will be sourced from the coolest epicureans. Health conscious casual fine dine in a beautiful setting with live entertainment nightly. Indoor/outdoor dining.     Although the wine in this wine tasting event was very mediocre the food pairings were excellent and well prepared.

    We went to a wine pairing dinner at Wildest and were thoroughly impressed with the restaurant and the food especially. The wine pairings were spot on but the wine itself was not one of our favorites. There were 6 courses (all small plates, of course) and each one was delicious with a beautiful presentation. We were happy to learn that most of the food we had is part of their regular menu so we will definitely be back for more. The service was good but for a wine pairing dinner, we kept getting the wine before the food. Since the wine owner was speaking about the various characteristics of the wine, we kept tasting and then had little left when the food finally arrived. But the whole evening was great!

    We brought some friends to the restaurant who had not dined there before. Food was good, Robert our server did a great job but the noise level with the dining room being such hardscape makes it difficult to carry on a conversation unless you speak up. Then others around seem to also speak up so…….it makes it louder.

    Great meal, great ambience and the service was unbelievable. An added surprise was the background music that added to the ambiance. He played his guitar and we were able to have a conversation during dinner without the music being too loud. There is music every night they are open. Mike greeted us like a VIP when we arrived and the owner checked on us during our meal. If you are looking for a great meal try Wildest. You won’t be disappointed.

    We were pleasantly surprised by the food. Loved the oyster mushrooms (fried chicken style). Design of the restaurant could use a bit of help. For the prices I think a bit more upscale would better.

    This is the best restaurant in Palm Desert. Great menu with vegan, steak and seafood options extensive wine list and great cocktails. Music on the weekends that is very good. This is the perfect restaurant to impress somebody on a date or getting together with friends.

    As frequent visitors to Palm Desert, we always include at least one visit to Wildest. In a word, I would describe our experiences as consistent. The food is outstanding - truly craft gourmet. As primarily vgan in our dietary preferences we appreciate that the menu offers multiple, beautifully crafted, dishes from "The Plants", "The Sea" and "The Land." The service is always impeccable, making you feel like your table is the most important location in the room, a beautiful and very comfortable environment. We know that we will never be disappointed by an evening at Wildest. I would find it difficult to find words that accurately describe the cullinary treat that Wildest represents.
