   Beautiful inside. Cozy outdoor seating with great dog watching opportunities. The food is delicious. The service has always been excellent and so kind. I highly recommend Wildseed

   We were very excited to visit Wildseed’s San Francisco location for the first time, as we’re regulars at the Palo Alto restaurant and love the food. The food here lived up to expectations—absolutely excellent, just as we’ve come to enjoy at the other location. However, we were disappointed the waitstaff service at this location. The hostess was warm and welcoming, promptly checking us in and seating us. However, despite requesting a booth in our reservation, we were not seated at one. Once seated, it took awhile for our server to greet us, and even then, she didn’t welcome us or ask if we had any questions. Thankfully, we knew what we wanted and placed our drink and food orders right away. While other team members seemed to help with food running (ensuring it arrived quickly), our server was absent for most of the meal. She reappeared only to drop off the bill. We had to request boxes for our leftovers, and she initially brought just one, requiring us to ask again for another. Also, our alcoholic drinks were delicious, but they seemed to be no booze in them. Having both worked in the service industry, we understand how demanding it can be during busy times. However, dining out is not just about great food—it’s also about feeling cared for as guests. Unfortunately, the lack of attentiveness detracted from our overall experience. We truly enjoy Wildseed’s menu and will likely return for the food, but we hope the service improves to match the quality of the dishes.

   Vegetarian or meat eater, Wildseed is such a special restaurant. High-end vegetarian food that I think can satisfy many a meat lover. The space is beautiful. The dishes are so delicious. I had something called neatball masala and it was so flavorful, filling, and reasonably priced. My friend loved her impossible burger. The staff is very nice, but they seem understaffed and just a little too busy to pay close attention to each table. This is not the fault of the staff who are working so hard, but the restaurant could hire a few more servers. Even so, I already look forward to my return to Wildseed.

   The squash pizza was inedible due to the amount of chili oil, but thankfully they took it off my bill. Waitress was excellent

   It was the perfect dinner spot for a solo diner on Christmas eve and I scored a last minute 7:45 dinner reservation through Open Table. The restaurant was filled with joyful diners and my server was wonderful and helpful. My orecchiette (Orecchiette alla pugliese. broccolini, garlic, chili flakes, beyond hot italian sausage, coconut parmesan (cg). $23) was delicious. amy only disappointment was I was not notified my order was part of the last call, so when I finished, I was unable to order dessert. It was probably for the best, but having enjoyed Wildseed dessert in the past, I know it would have been delicious.

   Appetizers were served before wine and cocktails. Our waitress was non existent except to ask if we wanted dessert.

    Service was great and food was delicious! I told the waitress that we only had 45 minutes to spare and she helped us pick menu options that would come out quickly.
