Deepak was an amazing waiter! The ambiance is amazing and the tea is delicious. Definitely will be coming back.

We love afternoon tea and try to go whenever we can, especially to venues we have never tried before. The afternoon tea at the Willard was exquisite!!! One of the best if not the BEST we have ever had. The food was delightful, especially the scones and pastries. Each pastry was a small bite of heaven, incorporating unique and wonderful flavor combinations, not the same tired flavors found at most afternoon teas. And the service was impeccable!! Can't say enough good things about it (and no this is not a "compensated" review.) You must experience afternoon tea at the Willard hotel in DC.

We had a really excellent server, Deepak. The food was delicious and there was a choice of seating to be quiet or more in the flow of the restaurant. Would definitely do it again.

Such a lovely tea with amazing service. The food was very very good. One person in our party had a gluten free tea and it was equally as good. Thank you for a lovely day!

Food was very well below standards of the hotel. Lobster was rubbery, scones were not cooked all the way through and other desserts were very underwhelming. You sat me back in a back room to be hidden away next to the mini service bar where they refilled water. This tea service needs to get its act together for what you charge customers.

We had a fantastic experience with the host, who had us seated immediately after parking with the valet, which was easy and efficient. Service at our table was sub par and I was actually a bit shocked that our server didn’t box up our left over items for us, rather he dropped off boxes and then walked away. The menu was exciting, however the pastries were dry and clearly not fresh. Great presentation, but lacking quality, which was disappointing for such a high price point. Overall, felt kind of like a Disney experience, which is not what we were looking for.

The best tea experience in Washington, DC! Service very friendly and top notch. I went for a friend’s birthday and we were greeted with celebratory champagne as soon as we were seated. Willard’s Tea Room expands tea seating just off Peacock Alley. We could still hear the piano and singer.
