Cozy wine bar/restaurant in an elegant historic house overlooking Fort Vancouver Park. Wide list of wines as well as beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Full food menu available from noon to 8pm including cheese & charcuterie boards, fresh soups and salads, entrees and desserts. Knowledgeable wine staff serve wine by the flight, glass or bottle with retail pricing for to go purchases. Groups welcome by reservation. In the summer, I took a dear friend to Willful Wine for lunch. A few months later, she said, I want to go back to the Grant House for lunch. I had the best grilled cheese sandwich of my life. So, we took her back for her 90th birthday in November. The food and service are excellent.

One of my very favorite places to eat. Beautiful, clean, great food and service. Outdoor patio for warm weather. Room for 10 for a special private gathering. Have nothing but positive things to say.

I always enjoy visiting Willful Wine Bar at the Grant House! The food is great and off course I love the wines and cocktails.

A great historical location. Sitting outside is the best. Limited menu is good but the food was average at best and the service was slow. It took an hour to get our entrees. Disappointing based on our previous experience with a different restaurant owner before the pandemic.

I'm sorry you had a negative experience John. I passed on your comments to our front of house manager and chef. We don't a large staff in the kitchen but we don't usually have that kind of wait time for food, and that is absolutely unacceptable. You can’t beat the beautiful setting of the Grant House. Add in delicious food and wine and great service and you have a wonderful evening Both wines and food were reasonably priced I liked the portion sizes

What a beautiful area (historic Fort Vancouver park) and the amazing Grant House on Officer's Row. Our waitstaff was very nice and filled us in on some of the history, as well as, all the wines they had on hand. Our group of six ordered many of the different menu items ,but I had the homemade gnocchi with bolognese sauce which was incredible. Definitely going back!!!
