   The Christmas buffet was wonderful. So many delicious items..my faves were the prime rib, lobster mac and cheese, seafood dressing and variety of desserts. What a wonderful experience 🎄

   This is my family’s one of the best experiences for the Christmas Day being in Houston 20 years. Good selection of quality and variety for the day buffet! We like the freedom of small amount of different bites, soups, salad, seafood, prime rib, pastries and sweets, sushi was awesome! Grilled and raw oysters are both delicious! Simple yet classic, while gathering and chatting! It was a fantastic time we had! Thank you Willie G’s!

   They were not prepared for the Christmas crowd today. Even with a reservation the wait was over 2 hours. Total disappointment. Was told I'd receive a text when my table was ready and never received a text.

   I have a reservation for 2:15pm and had to wait an hour still! Very poor planning! Oversold tables so everyone was waiting! I had a 1 yr old and it was very stressful to wait and hour with a baby on Christmas Day !

   Seated us one hour after reservation time after I complained to manager. It was obvious they had overbooked restaurant. Waiter was horrible, rarely came by to check on us. Wine glasses constantly empty. Food was so-so, certainly not worth the price and wait. Waiter didn’t even ask if I was a Landry’s member, so no input will happen on a Landry’s survey. Super disappointing!!

   We ordered seafood platter and fried shrimp. Everything was overcooked and dry probably because it was Christmas and it was so busy. We may try it again, but I doubt it.

   Christmas Day with the Buffet offered reservations fell at least an hour behind. They need to take that into consideration in the future

   I will NEVER go back on Christmas again. Complete dissatisfaction in the experience. Very disorganized and chaotic. Even with reservation we waited 45 minutes just to be seated… in the BAR! Our waiter hard pushed the buffet on us even though no one really wanted it. Many dishes were almost gone with just scraps in the dishes that were cold. Boiled shrimp weren’t even peeled and deveined. Had to walk through the kitchen past the restrooms just to get to the food and then had to zigzag through all the people standing around waiting to get back to our table. Food was underwhelming too. Then, to top it off we had to wait another 40 minutes for the valet to bring the car. They are getting 1 star for the complimentary dessert the manager offered us.

    We made a reservation for Christmas Eve and were expecting to sit indoor where we normally do. We were surprised when they sat us in a far corner in the outdoor area next to the loud waterfall. It was so loud that we were not able to interact as a family. The outdoor area did not look festive and did not feel like a Christmas Eve. The food was also a miss which is rare. We ordered our kids food first so that it would arrive before the adults food but it arrived all at the same time. It was also interesting that all the families sitting outside were families of color and the families inside in the nicer and quieter area were not. This was very disappointing and made me think twice about the Landry’s brand. Mastros is our favorite steakhouse and Willie G’s was our favorite seafood place, but we have now decided we will not go back to Willie G’s nor will we recommend it to anyone. I feel like we wasted a special moments with our family. This was disappointing.
