   We had the honey fig goat cheese and the field salad for starters then the sea bass and scallops with roasted asparagus as our main course. It was absolutely delicious!! The honey fig goat cheese was so decadent it would have been a great dessert. The salad was extremely fresh and light so amazing. Then there is the sea bass... Just wow! Perfectly seared and seasoned.. The best I've had in years and better than anywhere in this area!! Now for what brought it all together.. The service.. James was impeccable in his service.. We didn't have a single want that wasn't fulfilled before we knew we needed it. We have been to Wissota on several occasions and this is the first time we had great service and felt the visit was worth going back!! Thank you James for making our date night so special!! In all the times we have been to Wissota this is the first time we had a good review to leave.. we only returned the other 2 times for the carrot cake. However, whoever is now running the kitchen and staff should be proud. The chefs skills and James service was top notch! Thank you again James you made Wissota our new fav!

   The food and service was fantastic. My wife and I both had steaks, ribeye and filet, and cooked exactly as ordered. The asparagus and garlic mashed sides were suberb as well. Can't wait to sit out on the patio this summer and enjoy a cocktail by the river. The Huckleberry Old Fashioned ins a keeper!

   My dinner was the day after Valentine's Day, but I benefitted from the holiday specials still being on the menu. I very much enjoyed the roasted salmon special with a rich and delicious Florentine sauce that included sun dried tomatoes, an unexpected but pleasant addition. Despite the dining room being very busy, the service was as attentive and timely as ever and the kitchen seemed to have no trouble keeping up with the crowd. Another pleasant and tasty meal that reinforced why I keep coming back.

   Appetizers had a good variety of fun things like fried olives and alligator bites. The menu was varied. Each meal was perfectly prepared for us. Sides are made for sharing as each is a separate price. Service was excellent and attentive. The manhattan drinks were delicious. Desserts appealed to many tastes.

   First time being there for New Years Eve. It is an excellent place to eat. Food was prepped properly, and the servings were filling. I recommend the Chilean Bass. Clean and prompt service. Atmosphere is moderate as long as you don't have a person from another table deciding to get over the top with the drinks. You can get that anywhere though. Server was excellent and recommended items to get. Packed the take up for you and bagged it. Cost was expected being a high-end place to eat and on New Years Eve. Highly recommend. Will be back.

   Wissota Chophouse was a wonderful dining experience for our New Year's Eve Dinner! Our server was excellent. She was sweet, courteous and checked in on us just enough. Our drinks were excellent - especially the Mistletoe Margarita - I think we had 4 of those! All of our food selections were excellent as well. We loved everything we tried, the slab bacon, truffle fries and lobster bisque were all excellent. Some in our party had steaks, I had the scallops - all very good. We ended our meal by sharing the chocolate cake and carrot cake - AMAZING!! We will definitely go back!

    I dine here once/month when in town visiting my mom. The food and service are consistently good and the specials change frequently enough that I'm never bored with my options. I particularly enjoyed the poached jumbo prawns with pomegranate "caviar" on top of a luscious creamed spinach sauce. The prawns were perfectly cooked, moist, and flavorful. The "caviar" accentuated the sweetness of the prawns and the sauce was divine. I didn't understand the need for the alfalfa sprouts on top. The dish would have been fine without them. I also really enjoyed the holiday old fashioned I had as an after dinner drink. The mulled fruit and bit of port wine made for an interesting and slightly sweet variation on the classic southern version. Another fine meal and I've made my reservation for my next visit already.
