Food was good. Server was new and a bit awkward, but generally optimistic and helpful. Not sure, however, he had the best training to set him up for success. Learned the Chef quit the day before and a new chef was hired the day of our reservation, causing some concern. Steaks were great, as was the truffle bacon mac & cheese. Salads were brought to us mid-course of our stakes. Server offered to comp us the salads due to restaurant error. He came back and told us that his manager had nixed the comp for the salads, but that we could have two deserts if we wanted. That is not what we really wanted and had expected a comp on the salads. We were actually surprised that "management" did not support the judgement of the server. I travel to the area quarterly and came to Wissota Chophouse on the recommendation of a local colleague. My personal observation is that this is a rather pretentious restaurant, aspiring to be upscale, but which is clearly not. They are close with the food, but that is only part of the equation. There seem to be management issues and a clear lack of understanding as to how to "Create Value for the Customer." I will not go again, unless I give the one in Green Bay a shot sometime in the future.

The food was excellent!! Our waiter was rather new, I believe, just a few rookie mistakes. The only thing that would add to the overall experience would be linen table cloths. We will be back for sure!!!

When we arrived for our 5:30 reservation we were the only table in the dining room, yet it took 10 minutes until our server came to our table. My wife had the caprese salad, which was good. I had the lobster bisque, which wasn’t very flavorful. In fact, I couldn’t detect any lobster. My wife had the small filet. The flavor was good, but it was overdone a bit. I had the ribeye and it too was flavorful, but was more medium than medium rare. Neither steak was overdone to the point we needed to send it back. Although dinner was good I didn’t feel it was worth $143. We won’t be back.

Beautiful atmosphere. Wonderful service. Air conditioning wasn’t working so they decided to open their garage doors to bring in the outside air. The restaurant in located on a busy road it has a a high traffic sounds including sirens and motorcycles. Ordered a filet mignon medium, it came well done. Both my steak and my husband’s halibut was over seasoned with salt. Not pleasant. The staff offered to take money off the bill to compensate. However I would not be willing to try again.

Excellent birthday dinner at the Neenah Wissota Chophouse. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the bottle of wine suggested by the manager was a perfect pairing. We finished the bottle outside by the lovely fire pit. Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience. It was our first time we had received a gifts certificate from our children and we will definitely be back. The food was fantastic. We ordered the scallops and swordfish and Parmesan brussels sprouts best we have ever tasted. Our server was excellent and a huge selection of beers and wines to choose from.

Appetizers soup excellent ! Main course steaks, just Soso the chicken was dry and overcooked. Overall, an average to below average experience.

The service was excellent with a wonderful atmosphere. Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries or any special occasion! Way "fancier" than expected for the location.

Steaks came out under cooked which is better than over cooked but for the price expect them to be done right. Secondly asked about the blue cheese risotto and if it had onions in it. Waitress confirmed no, came out loaded with scallions to the point my husband who eats onions didn’t like it. For the price the dinner was lack luster, definitely wouldn’t go back again.
