   Staff was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu items, if there is a large group (as there was on our visit) the apparently small kitchen becomes overwhelmed. We started our meal with a pre-dinner drink, a Manhattan, which while tasty seemed as though the rye used felt watered down. As for the food the appetizer (fried goat cheese) was very nice, we both had soup ( lobster bisque and onion soup) were both flavorful nicely seasoned. For our main course we split a 24oz porterhouse: the filet side was cooked very nice, but needed more seasoning; while the New York strip side was seasoned nicely, but tended to be very dry although it was cooked to a perfect med-rare; we added the wild mushrooms which was a very disappointing portion for $7; we also got the Brussel sprouts...most disappointing portion of the meal, thier texture and taste of being previously frozen or woefully over-cooked. Recommendations: avoid hard liquor and order wine/beer; stick with smaller cuts of meat (filet, chops, etc); stick with a potatoe side and salads. We will likely go back to try some of the other menu items as stated previously. In short while not disappointing, we where a bit underwhelmed by our experience.

   Food was very good and I would recommend it for the food. The pricing is higher than the atmosphere. The tables need table cloths, the artwork on the walls is simple and needs more elegence. It was annoying to hear the clanking and watch a server organize silverware at the end of a bar, like being at a Denny's diner. If they upgrade the atmosphere it will reach the level of the food.

   The service was exceptional as was the quality and tastefulness of the meal. We celebrated our 53rd anniversary. Bonnie was the traveling manager was very tentative and comped our dessert for our anniversary.

   Last night’s dinner was easily the best steak I’ve ever had in Wickenburg! The top sirloin was cooked to perfection, and that mushroom demi-glaze was absolutely irresistible. It was pure heaven. My husband and I sat at the bar, where Chance was taking amazing care of us as always—he’s the best. He was training a new bartender, Erika, and she was fantastic. She made me a perfectly crafted espresso martini. We also shared the most amazing salad—greens, goat cheese, kiwi, and what I think was a champagne balsamic dressing. Everything was just incredible.

   The menu is awesome. We had a bad experience because we ordered the burger medium well and it came out bright pink and bloody - probably medium rare or less. Had to send it back and they quickly made a new one properly cooked. We understand these things happen. Also the scallops were way under cooked - almost raw and scary to eat. Again I understand scallops are difficult to cook properly and you don’t want them over cooked but I would expect better from a nice restaurant. Also ambience for high end steakhouse is a little odd when they use the bright lights and generic tables for the hotel breakfast buffet restaurant that doubles as a steakhouse. Bread, salad, and blue cheese risotto were fantastic.

   We have been there 2 times one time we went to the bar and had the burgers and the crab cakes and the food was great and service great as well because we were at the bar. This time we went with another couple and it was a completely different experience. The server was we had was young and inexperienced and was not getting any help from server people at the bar that were just sitting around. Now for the food. The crab cakes came out cold and when we mentioned it to the server she did not offer to refire them or credit them. I asked if I could have some chicken on a ceasar salad and they indicated no. They have no option for proteins on top of a salad which they need to change. As for the burger it was not cold but not hot enough either. My wife got the lamb chops and they just threw two big chop on a plate rolling around the presentation was horrible. We will be back because I love the way the place looks but I will just sit at the bar and order the burger until they can step up their game the prices do not match food quality, presentation of quality of service.

   Ordered two seafood dishes, sea bass & scallops and they were cooked perfectly. Shared some sides that were good but not great. Salads were served on HOT PLATES, which was unpleasant. Water was served at the table lukewarm no ice and I had to request refills. Never got bread service to the table. The ambiance is ok. It’s honestly a good place with nice food, but for the very high price I expected much better food & service.

   Food was very good, but over-priced. Water had a slight unpleasant taste and was served at room temperature rather than chilled. Servers were attentive and pleasant. Ambiance in the dining area was warm with nicely appointed decor.

   Rex, While I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed you service to an extent, I wanted to also say that I truly apologize bout some critiques you had observed. As our water is filtered, I am unsure how such taste could be present. In regards to pricing, our prices were made from the beginning when first opening so I apologize.    We have reservations and we brought to our table right away. There were one other table patrons so it must’ve been a slower time when we went at 6:45 PM. The appetizers of fried stuffed olives were excellent and we had a wedge salad, which was really good . Unfortunately when our entrées came out, the fish was raw and had to be sent back, which caused my husband‘s food to be cold because he wanted to wait to eat with me, but his prawns were excellent. We think if they added some dimmer lighting and maybe a sliding door to the dining area to cut down from the bar it would be an even better Experience and maybe some light music. Our server was excellent very apologetic server. We plan on going back and hopefully next time both meals will be cooked correctly. .
