We, Tokyo Ichiban Foods, started our business in the restaurant industry. We continue to pursue serving quality food that will delight our guests, and we cherish our relationship with them. Today, pivoting from our strong origin, we are also expanding our scope of business to aqua-farming, seafood processing and distribution.
We oversee the process through professional culinary eyes, from when the fish is cultivated until it is served to our guests. This allows us to build a sustainable and traceable system that will lead to higher customer satisfaction.
Japanese cuisine is blessed with opulent nature from both the mountains and the sea, which brings us rich seafood. Our wish is to bring quality seafood and Japanese food culture to the world, making the global food culture even richer and stronger.

    A very good dinner at Wokuni. Agedashi tofu was excellent as was the Kaisen Hitsumabushi. Sake by the glass was very good. Would like to see an expanded Happy Hour offering on the menu. Looking forward to returning to try more of the menu.

    I did the omakese and ordered sake way overpriced for this restaurant and not worth the price. I could’ve gone to Zuma for that price point.

    The food was great but they put us in a back room instead of the dining room even though there were tables available. The aesthetics of the main dining area seem lovely. The back room, on the other hand, was unfortunately unappealing and crowded.

    It's great to enjoy delicious Japanese food at a reasonable price in the heart of Manhattan. The oysters were fresh, and the sauce had a delightful Japanese flavor. The sushi offered a nice variety of choices and was equally enjoyable. I’d love to go back again.

    The menu is an enormous array of choices - the hardest part will be making your selection. Fortunately, there are options where the chef selects for you. Everything we ordered was delicious!

    Very nice, we went early, had terrific oysters and generous saki. Gyoza, tofu, shishito, yellowfin all delicious. Fresh sushi, nothing special rolls. Note entrees are really a la carte. Sea bass was a piece of fish on a plate. Very nice room, great service. Very convenient as its a 7 minute walk from Grand Central.
