“This Must be the Place”

What's a Wolf Peach, you say? Well, it’s an interesting story.

What we know today as the tomato was first grown as a crop by the Aztec Indians. Spanish explorers brought the tomato back to Europe in the early 1500s.
In England and Germany, they were initially regarded as ornamental, but poisonous, a “wolf peach”. This is because aristocrats experimented with the tomato, but it ended badly—not due to the fruit, but because it was eaten on pewter dishes. Apparently, acids in the tomato leached the highly toxic lead in the pewter dishes, and caused illness and even death in many cases. The “common” folk, however, typically ate on wooden dishes, and had no problem!

Wolf Peach is a place for all of us regular folks. A little uncommon, a little unexpected, a little special. A place for everyone and anyone to enjoy a good hearty meal, scratch-made from Chef Luke Ostrowski.

WE loved the service and ambiance at Wolf Peach. From the moment we arrived, we felt taken care of. The staff was proactive in making sure we had everything we needed. We came in because we saw that they had gluten free fried chicken, and it did not disappoint! The flavors in each dish were perfectly balanced. I was amazed at how well the ingredients complemented each other. I will return!

Went to Wolf peach for our anniversary dinner. Staff was welcoming and signed a congrats card for us. Caramel Ancho Old Fashioned was perfect. Scallops and Short Ribs were cooked to perfect. Thanks Wolf Peach for being amazing.

The service was very good. Nice ambiance. Cocktails were excellent. Food was delicious except we ordered the ricotta on crustini and the bread was too hard and the whole thing was overwhelmed by peanuts. Other than that I’m so glad we have this restaurant in Parker for an elevated dining option.

It was a very nice, warm, and welcoming experience. I would love to dine here again. I truly enjoyed all of the food and the staff was very kind and amazing. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu. Truly such a great place for a date night or even a night out with friends.

First time for us at brunch-time. I had the avocado toast with salmon and it was so tasty and fresh! My friend had the Parker omelette which was huge and I had to try! It, too, was out of this world delicious! I think they must sprinkle magic over the food! The food arrived super quickly so everything was hot! The service was outstanding too! I definitely want to go back … tomorrow!

We have gone to this restaurant a few times and always have a great experience. From the wonderful appetizers to the amazing drinks everything is always very tasteful. We went last night to enjoy that Halloween themed candlelight dinner and the ambience was amazing. We did move from the front window to the bar to have a little bit spookier effect but overall the evening was wonderful. I highly recommend their fried chicken on the appetizer menu.

It was the Halloween candlelight evening and it was fun, delicious and engaging....our server was amazing. Overall fantastic experience. Thank you.

The menu had several items that sounded amazing. The server helped us select complementary small plates and shareable dishes. Everything was great!

My wife and I visited today for the first time, on the occasion of our weekly date after taking in a show at PACE. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation, and the hostess didn't miss a beat, but promptly directed us to follow her and she delivered us to our table. Our server is a very delightful woman who manages an accent honed from Germany, Eukranian and Russuan verbal skills. Her cheerful demeanor, thoughtful answers to our questions and spot-on recommendations for wine pairing for our two different main courses were VERY impressive! Our food was delivered promptly, served appropriately warm with levels of artistic garnishing that were completely unexpected! Plate, presentation, and food preparation are all flawless, leading to as good a dining expericne as I've ever enjoyed being a world-traveler. We sent the chef our commendation for his dishes and their taste. We noticed that the entire staff seemed iterested in our comfort and happiness from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. This felt more like home than some random restaurant. Their combination of customer care, assistance, explanations/recommendations, to delivering food or drink, and then correctly and intuitively revisiting our table to ask if we need any further assistance, demonstrates a level of awareness and response that seems to be missing from most other establishments today. Wolf's Peach is that one pearl of great price - sell all you have to you can buy that pearl, and then get down to their location north of Hess and experience all this for yourself. 5/5
