My partner and I had a meal for Valentines. Upon entering I said hello and didn't get a response. A min or so later I was then acknowledged to say someone would be with us shortly. We ordered bread to share as a starter. I had just literally put the last bite in my mouth when our steaks came out. There was no room on the table for our mains as our bread sharing dish and plates were still on the table, as I said I'd not even finished chewing my last bite. My partner and I had to move the dishes to the empty table beside us to allow the waitress to put down our steaks. The steaks weren't medium rare as asked, they came out very rare. I was able to eat it but disappointed as the ribeye was rather fatty and chewy. We felt very rushed..we had had our 2 courses within 25 mins. We declined a desert as we had no time to rest inbetween courses and despite taking the server up on the offer to pay at the till upon leaving someone else then came over and asked for payment. I felt we were been rushed out. Overall the restaurant interior was nice but my experience for the overall meal was very disappointing especially for the price of the meal.

I booked a table for my son and his girlfriend for their 1st Valentine’s Day but they both said the service was terrible, asked for their desert order before they reviewed the menus. They had to wait 30 minutes for their bill. Very disappointing

This was my first time dining in the restaurant, we were given a warm welcome. The staff were very friendly and accommodating at all times during our meal nothing was a bother for them. The food was lovely but the portion sizes were very small. My partner ordered the supreme of chicken and it was the size of a baby chick. Definitely not worth the amount of money it was priced at. All mains should be served with a free side as menu was pricey enough. The Thai green vegetable curry was lovely and the chocolate caramel tart was delicious. The atmosphere was calm and serene. Very friendly and attentive staff. Thank you to all for making Valentines night special.

Very nice food, good service and a really exceptional setting. Let down a little my having some items, which we inevitably wanted, not available but still advertised on the menu. The only thing that stopped us giving it 5 stars.

It was our 21st anniversary and we wanted somewhere special. Audrey had been before, in the summer and recommended it to me. I was not disappointed. The steak was delicious and the sauce was great. All rounded off with a nice little dessert. My first visit will not be my last. I will return!!

A really beautiful meal, but unfortunately the service was very slow. We waited considerable lengths between each course but it was worth the wait. Highly recommended the Chateaubriard👌👌👌

We ordered ribeye steaks at £28 each. The steaks were small with hard chewy fat . Add on chips as extra and we had an expensive meal that was not worth the money.
