   Ozzy was our waiter, and he was awesome! He was from Juarez, and understood, and was very passionate about the Sotol made in the region of Mexico and Texas. The drinks were outstanding. The food was great. Just a fun evening in a unique place.

   Went for anniversary. Dark, romantic lighting with electronica playing. Started with the insect tacos and the ceviche. The chicken tacos had a mole sauce combined with a red salsa that was unreal. The wild boar ribs with tamarind BBQ is the most delicate BBQ you’ve ever had. Finished with espresso flan. The only knock is that our waiter was taking shots (reflected in other reviews) and the food could have been warmer

   Ayahuasca inside Xaman Cafe was excellent! From the warm ambiance when you get in, to the intimate dining room, we were there to a good start. Service was very personal and hospitable and the food was very authentic and top notch! We had the Tostada de Insectos and the variety of Sopes made with nixtamal and the flavors created a nice explosion of sensations with nice balance flavors and delicious Mole. We also had el Pato and el Tuétano with Ribeye paired with some amazing cocktails El Brujo with Mezcal and a flight of Arette tequilas and wine from Coahuila Rivero Gonzalez. Thank you for the beautiful experience!

   Xaman Cafe is just a modest, Mexican, neighborhood place that serves quality coffee, pastries, brunch, & lunch. But tucked in the back is Ayahuasca Cantina. As if you just transformed to central Mexico. The experience of Xaman Cafe slowly diminishes as the mystique of Ayahuasca Cantina intensifies. “Real Mexican Food” is subjective. But only a few places can execute Mexican dishes in their top tier form. Ayahuasca Cantina seems to do that with no problem. I think the concept of Xaman Cafe & Ayahuasca Cantina is genius.     Such an amazing place. Everything is perfect: the food, cocktails, atmosphere, and service. I've had dinner here several times and have also been in just for the amazing cocktails. This place consistently delivers with their creative and authentic Mexican fare, handcrafted cocktails, and intimate atmosphere.
