    Food was good, drinks were very strong. We had to ask for our Coke a few times and we never received our salsa y tostadas and our carne asada was so rare it was purple as our server never asked how we would like it. It was a bit of a disappointment.

    Second time eating here. Fantastic staff, amazing food… there wasn’t anything I wouldn’t recommend. Staff was incredibly nice, and knowledgeable. Our waitress had plenty of recommendations, and knew what she was talking about. Beautifully decorated, and great location.

    I chose Xiquita for my friend’s surprise 60th birthday knowing that she would love the food, and the ambiance. With the help of the incredible staff, shout out to our server Dylan who helped me pull this off, we had an amazing evening. We sampled dishes from the entire menu. Our favorites in particular were the ceviche, the huarache, the roasted carrots, the duck and the fish tacos, and the star of the evening the carne asada. I highly recommend Xiquita for any occasion, the whole crew is passionate about the food and the history of indigenous Mexican cuisine. A true gem.

    We finally made it to Xiquita after moving away from the uptown neighborhood last fall, and we can't believe we waited this long! Everything was absolutely 5 stars. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented and packed with so much flavor. The cocktail and wine list was spot-on—curated perfectly to suit our tastes and elevate the evening. Our server, Dylan, truly made the experience unforgettable. He was informative, friendly, and so much fun, making us feel right at home. The ambiance is simply gorgeous—filled with lush plants, soft traditional music playing in the background, and the noise level was just perfect for a relaxed yet vibrant dining experience. If you visit, don't miss the carne asada “grandes” entree—it’s a must-try! And definitely save room for the sweet corn bread dessert; it’s the perfect end to a fantastic meal. We’ll definitely be back whenever we have another evening to be wowed!
