   This is a great choice for MX restaurant on the Sayulita plaza, situated on the second floor we were able to enjoy our meal and see the local evening events. This is a higher end than traditional MX cuisine with interesting changes. Creative cocktails. Although we are not vegetarian, we did notice about 1/4’ish of the selections were Interesting vegetarian offerings. We highly recommend this restaurant.

   I rated Xochi five stars across the board except for ambiance and noise, but that wasn't their fault. There was a city festival/parade right when we were there and the music from Sayulita Plaza was a bit too loud for my older relatives to hear over. But the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We had a party of 10 and all of us were very well attended to. I fully intend on eating there again on my next trip to Sayulita.

   We had a large party, 15 people, and they set us up in a side room. The food was excellent, and the meals arrived all at the same time, a benefit of a large kitchen and staff. Our wait staff were friendly, and Tomas was exceptional -- fun, considerate, the perfect host.

   My husband and I wanted to enjoy a nice dinner out for a very special occasion. We arrived for our dinner reservation at 830pm. We were seated down stairs at our table. We ordered some drinks. They had a salsa dance lesson classe starting at 9pm. We asked the server if it would be okay to join the dance class and have dinner after. He said It was no problem at all. We preordered our dinner so when the dance lesson was over we would go back down and eat it. We went upstairs and enjoyed the night learning to salsa dance. It was such a wonderful time. The server from down stairs was so kind and brought the food upstairs to eat. He was wonderful! The food was delicious. We payed our bill and tipped the server as he wanted us to Seattle up our bill from downstairs. We continued dancing after dinner for an hour. We ordered 2 drinks from the upstairs bar. We went to pay for our two drinks and catch our bus back to our resort. The server from upstairs yelled at my husband because he tipped him 20% for two drinks. He told us it was not enough. He was extremely rude and told us to get out get out and go catch your bus. I was absolutely shocked how rude he was. This is absolutely unacceptable. He then stood above the stairs case and glared at us when we left. I couldn’t believe how we’re treated by this server. It honestly ruined our night. The server told us a 20% tip was not enough for two drinks. I’ve never gone to a restaurant and had anyone yell at me about tipping. I hope that the manager talks to the server as this is extremely unprofessional. I did try to reach out privately but never heard back. Thank you, Newlyweds

    Había algo de ruido pero fue porque tenían un partido de beisbol en televisión. Fuera de eso, la comida estuvo bien. Lo único que nos desagradó es que nos trajeron la cuenta sin pedirla. Apenas estábamos preparándonos para otra bebida cuando la colocaron en nuestra mesa, nos pareció un gesto desagradable aunado a que fue un poco evidente el trato en otras mesas
