YAO pays culinary homage to the vibrant Yaowarat neighborhood in Bangkok, an ancient Thai-Chinese community.

As you can imagine, the neighborhood is a paradise for food lovers because this cultural blending has created some of the most delicious eats on Earth. Spicy, crunchy, tangy and delectable dishes are handed down over many generations.

We created this restaurant to have the look, feel and tastes of Yaowarat, and we cant wait to share our food with you! Once more, we welcome you and yours to YAO.

The food & atmosphere were great, but the service was poor at best, our server just never bothered to check on us. The live music was great but we only saw 2 massages given the whole time we were there.

Yao was the perfect vibe. Service was top tier. The massage was relaxing. The food was literally a chef's kiss. The live music elevated the intimate ambiance that much more.

Our Valentine's Day experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to poor service. It took far too long for our server to greet us and take our drink order. The timing of the courses was completely off—our second course arrived before the first, and when the first course finally did come out, only half of our table received their dishes. To make matters worse, our third course was served cold and had to be sent back. The overall wait time for food was excessively long, making the evening frustrating. While the food itself tasted good and the ambiance was pleasant, the disorganized service overshadowed any positives. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

They claimed they no longer accept anyone after 10 o'clock. They should update their hours, as they ruined my anniversary with my wife.

I was looking for a nice little restaurant to catch up with a friend over martini's. I came across Yao on TikTok. I made reservations and we were seated immediately upon arriving. The restaurant was very aesthetically pleasing. Great for a date or dinner with friends. They also had live music on this Saturday night. The artist preformed covers to some of the best top charted songs, which definitely enhanced the dining experience. THE DRINKS! Omg... these were some of the best martinis I've tasted. We had about three a piece ranging from a lychee martini, salted melon martini, and espresso martini. The salted melon, if that's the correct name, was by far the best! These well crafted cocktails really stood out from others in the community. Though we only went for drinks, we did order a few apps: lettuce wraps, crab wontons, calamari, and mussels. The lettuce wraps were so flavorful with a little kick! The crab filling in the wontons were good, but the wontons weren't crispy at all. No complaints with the calamari or mussels. Overall, very pleased with this dining experience. The parking garage was also easy to navigate. I would definitely return! Good job, Yao!!!
