   I love eating here, and I eat here quite often. I am a Las Vegas local and Yardbird is one of those places I definitely love visiting whenever I do a staycation. I do love that most of the time they offer a local discount. However, for the amount of times I have visited Yardbird, I wish there were more perks. They were once offering a special service to those who were longtime members. They would give free appetizers or free drinks every now and then and maybe even throw in a free dessert. Now they don’t do any of that. And it was stopped the moment I started going there. Other than that, the food is very good and I recently got the new Nashville fried chicken and waffles. It was amazing. Wish they didn’t charge an extra three dollars for the Nashville flavoring though…. They don’t really put that much on there. In that case, I wish it was much spicier! The biggest problem I have with this place is the price. I know it’s in the heart of the strip, and I do appreciate the local discount when it’s available. But for members like me who have been visiting this place for quite some time, I would hope there would be more perks.

   Service was very good. Aside from that, while the food was decent it’s definitely nothing to write home about. There are always risks traveling from the south to other areas and eating “southern food.” If you are someone who doesn’t travel or cook often it will definitely tickle your fancy. The ambience is very nice though.

   Gluten Free chicken and Waffles are outstanding!!! Dominic, our waiter, was awesome! The Brussel sprouts and crispy potatoes were also excellent.

   Wish they would give more discounts or offers since I go there so much. They had a VIP program, but got rid of it. They used to give free drinks and appetizers so I’ve heard. Now all I get is two pieces of chocolate in a box and maybe a greeting from the manager on duty. Need to step it up to entice me to come back more often! The Nashville hot chicken was good, but I wish it was spicier! Next time I’ll request more spice!

   Meal was awesome as usual staff was on top of things , only problem was the noise level i couldnt hear myself talk so loud i couldnt get the full enjoyment of the visit. Plan your meal at a time when their are fewer guess or else the noise level I will rise on you to uncomfortable levels. Perhaps some dividers to break up the noise

   Ribs were fantastic! Salad was super small and no blue cheese. Excellent service. A bit pricey though.

   This was my 3rd time at Yard Bird and this experience wasn’t as good as the first two. Food portions have shrunk and for a party of two, (half a chicken, corn, potatoes, cornbread, and one bottle of beer) the bill was $112.47. Of this, $16.02 was automatically added on as “gratuity”. While I’m a great tipper, I do not like being “forced” to tip a certain amount. If I had a large party, completely understandable, but only a party of two. I did ask out waiter what this was and he said he can remove it. I still asked why it was added on. He said something like it was added on during COVID and because of COVID money. It was as do loud, I could hardly hear what he said. If it was added on during COVID, it should be removed. That was four years ago. I’m thinking they hope people won’t notice and just pay the tab. I ended up tipping him a total of $35 but again, don’t try to force people. It doesn’t still well with most!

    Being from the south fried chicken is a favorite and Yardbird does a very good job. Nothing special but if you want good fried chicken, check them out
