    Random post workout pick on Christmas Day. Lucked out with a reservation as they have limited seating (49 seats) and are typically quite busy. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and all work together to make sure you’re well taken care of. The food was exceptional (we definitely over ordered but there were so many exciting options), service was excellent, and the prices were very fair for the portions. I’d recommend ordering lots of options and sharing - take home the leftovers!

    This is food you can’t get anywhere else in Boston.  A cuisine you have to try if you like Chinese food. The service was perfect.

    We’ve eaten here several times and decided to treat our friends to their first time. We all enjoyed the dishes we shared and the chef was happy to scale back the heat for one of us. Having said that, I do prefer the tofu with longhorn peppers to the milder classic tofu dish my friend ordered. I love the heat and the unique food offered at Yunnan Kitchen.

    The best authentic Chinese food to be found in Boston! Every dish is unique and full of wonderful ingredients and flavors. We are lucky to have such a place in Boston!

    I researched best Chinese cuisine and Yunnan came up with reference to James Beard, etc. underwhelmed, however, the pan friend dumplings and General Gau’s chicken were nice.
