Yuta was the name the Ute Indians called the area and themselves, meaning "mountain top" or "people who live high is the mountains." Legend has it, when Spanish explorers arrived and asked the natives what this area was called, they were told "YUTA." Its mountains have seen many cultures pass through or inhabit, starting with the Uto-Aztecan Native Americans; then, the Utes. As US western expansion continued, more cultures moved through the area – from as far away as Eastern Europe and China. Drawing on all of these cultures, we are defining a regional cuisine true to Utah, featuring a wood-burning hearth, and with Lynsey Gammon, our Blue Sky farmer who uses the ultimate in organic farming practices.

We've been there several times. It's easily the best looking restaurant in the most beautiful property in the Park City area, although it's a bit of a drive. The food quality has always been excellent. Service has been consistently good, but not quite up to the level of the food. Wine selection is well curated, but not as extensive as one might expect. Pricing is aggressive for the area -- but we've been there multiple times, so apparently it's not too too high. With some minor improvements, this could be the best restaurant in and around Park City. Definitely worth a visit, though.

We had our first visit to this property, and even though it felt a bit off the beaten path, it was absolutely worth the drive for our 11th wedding anniversary. I mentioned to the staff that my wife has gluten intolerance due to a previous surgery, and they were very accommodating, serving her a delicious gluten-free bread alongside the tasty Hawaiian variety. We were pleasantly surprised by the unique presentation of the foie gras it was a refreshing change from what we’ve experienced at other restaurants, and it tasted amazing. Our entrees were cooked to perfection. I tried the elk dish for the first time it had a bold flavor My Wagyu dish was spot on! The highlight of the night was our anniversary dessert, which was incredibly rich and dark. I forgot to ask if they had a dessert menu, but it didn’t matter it was a lovely treat regardless. Our server, Elizabeth, and the rest of the staff were fantastic. The only small hiccup was when two staff members explained the entrees at the same time, which was a bit confusing. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and since my wife and kids loves horses, we’re definitely planning to come back!

Mixed experience with overall nice service and beautiful dining room. Chair and couch heights a bit low, feels more form than function. Menu great, most food amazing, but salmon overcooked twice (but comp’d as apology). Cocktails generally good. Wine service fantastic, amazing and fun sommelier with great charisma. Our friend got sick possibly from the steak tartare but impossible to know for sure. Overall, we’d definitely return, but it’s a haul unless you’re staying there are the resort (we’re closer to Park City proper, so about 35 min drive). I’ll be there are wonderful views if you dine before or around sunset.

This was my second visit to Yuta. The first was for dinner during the Sundance Film Festival in January, and this visit was for lunch after a horseback ride at a nearby ranch. Both visits were perfect. I love the location and driving up the mountain to the resort. The staff are welcoming, the views are breathtaking in every season, the restaurant is warm, inviting, and comfortable, the food is delectable, the service is impeccable. I really could not ask for a better total experience.

I think Yuta is good but not great. Ambiance is very nice, and the food is good. Portions are smaller, which is fine, but it is way overpriced. We are local and I just think there are many other restaurants we will go to before coming back.

Always a good experience at any Auberge establishment. This was no different. Beautiful restaurant in gorgeous setting. Food was great as expected and a great server who made it all the more a wonderful experience. .

Terrible service. A limited and over priced menu. Food was over cooked. They automatically tacked on a 20% tip (three people in my party), and didn’t earn a penny of it based on value added. I don’t recommend this place & will never return there.

Yuma was amazing. Thoughtfully designed in the most stunning setting. Service was top notch, food was outstanding. It was expensive but expected at a fine resort. We’ll be back.
