It was nice place but the food was ok. did dine LA and tried the whole menu. The brussels, hummus, falafel and the bread was the best. Everything else was mid. The dessert was really good. They also don’t validate so parking in self parking was $18 so you might as well just valet.

The hostess was very kind and welcoming. The food was delicious but the service was very slow, forgetful at times and just lackluster. At one point we were informed by the manager of a menu change to an item we ordered. She couldn’t have been nicer but none of that warmth or dedication to service coming from the waiter. I will go back in a few weeks, the food is worth it and hopefully things will be better

Love the dine la menu and good value. Service is quite slow and I heard their printer was down so probably that’s why. Other than that I’ll come back

Went to Zaytinya during Dine LA Week. My wife and I had not been there before but we got the Zaytinya cookbook at last year’s Festival of the Books. The food was excellent. Service was fantastic. We were surprised at the large size of the mezze dishes. We left very full/satisfied after a nice lunch out. We would come back for the pita alone.

The food was good and the service was kind. We had a reservation for 4 and at check-in, they communicated that they would need the table back in 1.5 hours. We ordered fairly promptly (8-10 dishes) and had no drinks and none of the big entrees. We had to ask for a dessert menu to try to speed up our turn time but ultimately still took 2 hours. Given the service style, it seems infeasible for a party of that size to turn that quickly without a pretty significant rush and it colored our experience negatively.

Hot pita bread. Hummus. Glass of good Greek wine. Falafel. Yum. This is just the beginning of what Zay has to offer here. The shrimp was amazing. Good desserts. Next time I'm having the whole grilled fish. I am very use to the Michelin stared Zaytinia in Washington DC. It was our fav there. I'm glad they have finally come to their senses and opened one here. The Shay hotel was fun. We played pool and a game of Candyland before our dinner. What fun My kids all loved it. We had a fun evening. Thank you Jose. And thank you again because You are doing great things for our country 👍🙏🙏🙏

Loved Zaytinya!!! Wonderfully fresh mezze plates & a lovely ambiance. The scallops, meatballs and brussels were my favorites of the night. As a big fan of dips, I also really appreciate how each dish comes with/ on a bed of some sort of sauce hahaha delicious to scoop up with extra pita. Thought it was a great value for the price too. We ordered 8 mezze plates + 2 desserts and it came out to a little over $50 (pre tip) per person for 3.
