   Servers were rushing us and not everyone was on the same page. Food was brought to us cold.

   We had a reservation at 7:45 and were only seated at our table at 8:40 (nearly an hour later). A manager never came to speak to us or apologize- only one of the hosts. We were promised dishes to be comp’d for our wait and this was not applied to our table or our check until I went to our server after she handed our bill to us to tell her what happened and they comp’d us one or two dishes. The food was pretty good but the experience left a pretty bad taste in our mouths and we probably will not dine here again because of that experience.

   Larger portions would have been appreciated. Very small pours of wine, considering the price.

   Food was delish! Brussels sprouts, fried eggplant, apple dessert with a mediterranean type name, spicy cumin meatballs were all standouts. The server was a delight. The Magic Carpet gin cocktail was amazing. I couldn’t speak to the noise level bc it was the “early bird” dinner time and just post LA conflagration and we were the only guests. We shall return!

   Gorgeous space and atmosphere. Delicious food that came out beautiful, fast and hot. Lovely, attentive service. So happy a great restaurant is in that space finally!

   Absolutely incredible experience! The food was delicious, the place was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. The menu is authentic. I love Lebanese food. (there’s other cuisines in the menu as well) can’t wait to go back again!

   We have been waiting for Chef Jose Andres to bring his award winning talent to SoCal. Zaytinya does not disappoint. We loved every shared small plate, not leaving anything left. We were filled up with five courses and our only regret is we didn’t have room for dessert. We will definitely return for another five star dining experience!

   I am so glad that José Andrés has opened this restaurant in Culver City. I love this kind of food and we found the preparation and the flavors to be exceptional. We were invited to try the wine before making a final choice. The babaganoush was exquisite, especially with the bread we were served. The scallops and black cod were perfectly prepared and tender. The lamb kabob with its pickled peppers and onions was special also. And those Brussel sprouts that everyone raves about are not to be missed! The waiters were knowledgeable and provided all kinds of detail. We were very satisfied with this amount of food. We would have loved to have tried the olive oil cake, but there was no room--next time! We will return.
