Improvisation and joy are the cornerstones of Tony’s style. He studied classical Cuban piano at the Ignacio Cervantes conservatory in Habana, Cuba. Afterward, tony turned to study the rhythms of jazz. For over a decade, tony has developed a jazz performance rich with influence of traditional Cuban rhythms. Thoroughly enjoyed the lamb chops while listing to the piano. Wonderful attentive service. I visit each time I’m in San Francisco.

once again a lovely evening. this time tried the salmon - i enjoyed it but it is the bread pudding that i'm still dreaming about the addition of almond flavor to it made it perfect-and of course Tyler at the bar is a major enhanhancement. look forward to returning

Thank you for dining at our Ristorante and for sharing your feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the food and found it to be good value. We, however, are sorry to hear that you felt our service was confusing and the wine list was short. Our server has a support staff of assistants and an owner who likes to jump in to say hello as well as help with service. Our wine list has roughly 150 carefully selected bottles that almost completely represent Italian wine producers and varietals, which are coming from the top and serious small production family producers. We hope we will have the opportunity to make it nice and improve your impression. Best regards from The Management Team.

We had a very enjoyable pre-theater dinner here- the atmosphere was relaxed and the room was lovely. We were there mostly before the jazz combo started playing, but when they arrived they were in another room so it was still pretty serene. All of our food was delicious, the minestrone was a standout for freshness and flavor. I regret that I don’t remember our server’s name because he stood out for service and friendliness (we enjoyed our chat about Portland). So glad we found this pleasant spot for a delicious meal.

I liked this place better last year. The food was still decent but the service was poor. Switched waiters, changed item on the wine list (we no longer offer a Cabernet, try this instead). The cost is high for what this place is. Wines by the glass $20 and up. Single malt Scotch was $30 and up! Told them in the reservation and upon meeting the waiter that we had a birthday. It was never mentioned the entire night. The views are treetop level overlooking Post Street. Very nice. But if you’re going to spend $100+ per person on a glass of wine, a main and dessert in SF, I’d go somewhere else.

Brought my team for an evening of Jazz, amazing food and one of a kind customer service. Ates our waiter was amazingly good. He took great care of us and the servers brought all out food at the same time. We had a party of six with four Birthdays. The live Jazz was superb. I will definitely be back. The chicken breast stuffed with spinach and other goodies accompanied with gorgonzola gnocchi took top price. Job well done Zingari!
