At the edge of the CBD, in the spectacular 22-hectare waterfront precinct where an old container terminal once stood, discerning foodies can now find some of the city’s best sushi in Barangaroo. Established in 2016, the newest addition to the Zushi restaurant empire is in Sydney’s impressive new harbour foreshore playground. Zushi Barangaroo is both stylish and comfortable, capturing the relaxed style of a typical Japanese bar or izakaya designed by the renowned architect Koichi Takada. We offer premium service complimented with a wide selection of imported beers, Japanese inspired cocktails, and Japanese sake and whisky.
Zushi prides itself on using only carefully sourced local ingredients; the freshest vegetables and sustainable seafood where possible and most of the menu is gluten-free. We are open every day for lunch and dinner, serving delectable sushi, sashimi and share plates. And the glorious harbour views are pretty tasty too.

We had a really lovely experience at zushi, the staff were really prepared with a coeliac friendly menu, gluten free soy sauce and wait staff that knew exactly what could and couldn’t be made gluten free. We will be back again.

staff are lovely, food was pretty expensive but very high quality. Perfect place for a date in my opinion amazing aesthetic.

Great food and good service, unfortunately due to the renovations there was some noise but not too bad and they let me know prior. Looking forward to seeing the renovation :-)

Had an amazing time in Zushi. It was my daughter’s birthday and we all enjoyed the food and the service. Great value for money especially in Barangaroo.

It was a good experience to dine at Zushi everything is nice food is superb and all the staffs are very accommodating and attentive to what the guests needs

It wasn’t at all what I expected. It looked like this was going to be a pretty nice location for dinner. It was paper napkins, it’s under construction and service was really weird. So when we got there, they had us at table w/bench seats. I don’t want to sit on something that doesn’t have a back for dinner. So when I asked to move to any of multiple EMPTY tables w/actual chairs - it was like I broke the guy’s brain. Then he mumbled something like he needed that one specific table back I guess. But again multiple diff empty tables - at 6pm for party of 4. So we were looking at the menu-the server was hovering the entire time. We didn’t know this was something we were going to have to hurry hurry hurry and GTFO. Again 6pm, thought this was dinner. We ordered drinks and 1 app. Still looking at the menus. App shows up. The server hovering literally whipped the open menus out of my hands and my friends hands. Shocked, we immediately said whoa wait we are still looking. She said well I can bring them back. My friend said do you need these menus for other tables?? Server said well no but the app is on the table. blank stares-we said It’s fine we can nibble AND look. Again the server hovered over us the entire time. We ordered our food finally I guess to her liking. Sashimi boat, 1 roll, my husband ordered cauliflower and the honey prawns. Oh and broccolini. It was entirely too much food but we did our best. Food was good-ish. Fish was fresh. Boat was 4 diff fish- which was a little boring. The oysters were awful. Oh broccolini was awful-Super fishy. Honey prawns were prob the best thing we had. We tried to order the Padron peppers as an app. She first told us oh you don’t want those they’re too spicy people Send them back. We’re from Texas so we said the heat is fine. She argued with us about it being too spicy so we gave up. But later when we ordered our mains, she told my hubs they’re actually out of them. It was such a weird experience. I felt awful I chose it really.
