    as a bartender/server at a steakhouse, i’ve never in my 10yrs in the restaurant industry have experienced this horrible and disrespectful service. im not one to ever complain about ANYTHING, especially about someone’s service, i understand, servers are tired, have bad days, but its never the guests fault and we are taught that. we where not greeted nicely, didn’t get a name, nothing. we where never asked ONCE how we where doing, how our food was, not a single “you’re welcome,” “enjoy” nothing. all of our food was slammed in our table, and nothing picked up. his airpod was in the WHOLE entire time, we had to repeat ourselves MULTIPLE times. it was super slow that we where so confused why our food was taking soo long, maybe short staffed on kitchen? i understand. it took us 30 minutes to spot out our server in the entire restaurant so we could ask for our check. when my partner and i go out to eat, we go out to eat to SPEND money, younger people are taken the impression of “not tipping” but that should never be the case. our servers mood switch up quick as soon as he got an older couple, i was observing to see if we where the problem but i told my boyfriend that its okay, server having a bad day, lets not let it get to us and enjoy our food. i was no where near going to leave a single dollar tip, i tip by SERVICE, this could’ve easily been a $40+ tip how i always do bc again, i work in the restaurant industry. people go out to these restaurants to spend money, to drink, on VALENTINES WEEKEND. ive been going to the Ra sushi on westheimer for years and always spend more than $200+ and have a great time. we wanted to give city centre a try because we where so tired to drive far and have always heard bad reviews about this location, but unfortunately everything was right. from service to management, letting your servers walk around with an airpod in is ridiculous. our server had the AUDACITY to ask us “was there a problem today” after we left him $0. his name was nelson.

    Shut up for my reservation 30 minutes early, and people that showed up after us they had the same reservation time got seated before us. Very unorganized hostess that are not all on the same page.

    First off I want to say I get Valentine’s Day is crazy, but it was a pretty bad experience. I had a reservation for 2 at 9:30 and were seated at 10. Once seated we waited 40 minutes and weren’t helped out at all, not even drinks. We had to leave because tables near us were being helped out and we were being ignored. Again I get it’s chaotic, but it was a rough time. I usually love the experience at Ra, but this one makes me hesitant on coming back :(.

    Terrible experience coming here, I made a reservation so I came in time so I can have a table. When we got there we were informed that they booked way too many tables and we would have to wait over an hour to be seated. When we finally were able to sit down after 1hr and 30 mins they took forever to attend us and the food quality was absolutely terrible. I don’t recommend anyone to come here or reserve a table here.

    Never again am I going here!!! I booked reservations for my wife and 1 year old at 8:30PM for valentines just to arrive and wait in the cold. Managements excuse was that there was a glitch in the system and they were over booked. After finally being seated tables that were sat after us got their food before us. Our entrees came before our appetizers and some of the entrees never arrived so we just canceled some of the plates. I am extremely upset because we love coming here but staff was unapologetic for our reservations situation.

    The restaurant was not prepared for the amount of people during Saint Valentine’s day. We arrived earlier for our 7:30 reservation and we were seated until 8:10 pm in a table outside with no heater. We needed to ask our server to move because we were freezing. The food took very long to arrive and our entrees arrived before our appetiser. We ordered dessert because our server told us that it would only take 10 minutes it was 10pm the dessert never arrived so we left. Recommendations: Avoid taking too many reservations for this kind of dates if you can’t maintain the quality of service.

    The most terrible experience we've had with them. They have been going down for a while now however last night was Absolutely crazy. They overbooked the tables. For a 7 PM reservation we did not get seated till 7:40 PM. There was a line out the door no privacy. Didn't get our appetizers at all. Nigri was mediocre at best and the drinks watered down. Wouldn't recommend at all.

    Went for Valentines day with my wife, had a reservation for 6:30 and got seated 10 minutes after arrival. Our waiter Diego exceeded our expectations of service. He recommended some items from the menu and he was absolutely correct, the food was spectacular. Will definitely be visiting RA Sushi and Diego to get more recommendations on the menu!

    The music was much too loud. They did not have the drinks we ordered. They did not have the chopsticks helpers for my kids.
