The Raintree was recommended to us by a local. He did not steer us wrong.. our server Tim was attentive and did not miss a beat on any request. Atmosphere was lively but not loud and the food and drinks were amazing.

It was a lovely well managed restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices. It had a parking lot which was a wonderful asset! The escargot and the eggplant parmigiana were delicious! We will be back!

We've lived in the area for almost 4 years and finally tried Raintree for the first time this past weekend. We loved the setting, and the food and service were top notch. Tim was our server, and while the restaurant was packed and he had tables in more than one area, he took fantastic care of us. We enjoyed the entire experience and will definitely return.

This place was a great place to sit and chat with my family! The appetizers were good, we had charcuterie and bang bang shrimp. My and my husband’s mains were eh. I had fettuccine with tomato sauce, a meatball, and Italian sausage. The meatball was good. The sausage was incredible. The pasta was overcooked a lot. Not any chew at all and was not great. The sauce was very oily and needed some salt. The fettuccine Alfredo was similar. Pasta was not as bad but sauce was eh. My parents had the beef Wellington and the steak wedge salad and they both liked them! I would go back but would stay away from the pastas! Because the ambiance was incredible and so fun.

Blue cheese crusted filet was excellent as usual and the Black Russian was delicious. Parking was a problem because they were busy but mostly because of carnival across the street. Had to park two blocks away and pay $15.

The hostess greeted us and immediately wished my wife a happy birthday, which was appreciatedx. Once seated we noticed that our server was aloof, rushed and not welcoming. My wife ordered the brandy peppercorn steak. Her salad came absolutely swimming in dressing. She had ordered her steak medium plus, but it was brought to the table rare. It had to be returned twice, but the server forgot it the second time and when she noticed much later that my wife didn't have her steak and that I was nearly done with my meal, she just said, "Oh". By the time the steak was returned it had been reduced to a piece of tasteless shoe leather. I ordered the prime rib and it was presented nicely, but it was absolutely flavorless. I relied on salt, pepper and horseradish to give it any taste. Thankfully, our server later let us know they removed the charge for my wife's steak. We were surprised to see that Raintree includes a mandatory 15% gratuity on every bill. No wonder that our server was rushed and not engaging. The business model at Raintree is based on quantity not quality. They moved fast and wanted to turn the table quickly. There is no incentive for the wait staff or the kitchen to give you a wonderful dining experience. Save yourself a big disappointment and go to one of the many fine restaurants in St. Augustine.

The three of us were very satisfied with our meals. We want to go back to have the lamb again. Cooked perfectly with a wonderful presentation. The bread pudding was a perfect ending and big enough to share.
